Global Zest told me they could supply me with data for UK dentists. They sent over samples that looked great. Then when they supplied the data, after taking payment, I found to my horror that the data was useless. The vast majority of the data was not for dentists. I could tell immediately it was not what I was expecting. I did some spot checks of the data using the UK's General Dental Council search facility and found that 9 out of 10 contacts on the list were not dentists.
If there is a 0-star option, I would like to utilize it here.
Global Zest SCAMMED us out of thousands of dollars. They provided material that looked good in samples and delivered nothing but bounce backs and irrelevant contacts. We asked for at least 50% of the money back and they refused, promising to "re-do" the lists. We never heard from them again.
PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM! Ryan Briggs and Chris McCarthy are both scammers and will not cooperate. You notice every time you call them, the phone number never goes through?
Similar to other reviews in this feed, our recent list purchase from Global Zest was horrendously bad in quality. We were looking for Forest Engineers. They gave me a list that included banks, recreation centres, movie theatres and more. If there was a city or business with any keywords included (although not the right kind of business) - they included those. They also manually changed the job titles to match exactly what we were after.
I have tried for 6 months to get some support from them and to get a proper list (even if it was substantially lower in quantity number) - and nothing back.
I engaged Globzl Zest Business Solutions to provide me with two separate lists that Included name, job title, company, email address, physical address and telephone number. I provided written instructions that clearly laid out what was being agreed to and Global Zest and myself signed off on this document. After four attempts for GZ to provide the requested information, they admitted they would not be able to provide me with the information requested. I asked for a refund and they resisted. Eventually they agreed to a $500 refund. The refund has never been delivered. GZ came up with various excuses related to illness, vacation, etc. They have never followed up with my payment.
They would not take a credit card and they required payment in advance.
This company had a chance to salvage my respect, but they have failed in every way.
We’ve worked with several mailing list vendors over the years and Global Zest ranks among the best both in terms of product quality and service excellence. I’d recommend them at a moment’s notice.
From Quora - "Also be wary of Etex Solutions (same address as Global Zest and same owner Ryan Briggs ) and Accudb (same reviews and words from“Paul Andrews - Mediplay” this certainly looks suspicious when the same review verbatim appears on separate websites .) "
GlobalZest BS Inc - Dishonest, untrustworthy, no integrity
Global Zest BS (Yes BS) are not to be trusted. A client of mine purchased a list from them. They purport to offer curated mailing lists, however, once they receive payment, Ryan Briggs and Chris McCarthy deliver lists that are just random Gmail, Hotmail and Yahoo addresses mixed up with business email addresses that are not even relevant to the lists being requested. Once payment has been received they apologise and say they will revisit the list, then you will never hear from them again. To add to this ,some test sends from the list even had huge bouncebacks indicating how old the data is. List purchasing is not a smart way to get clients these days as most ISP’s see them as spam quality.
Also be wary of:
Etex Solutions (same address as Global Zest and same owner Ryan Briggs )
Accudb (same reviews and words from“Paul Andrews - Mediplay” this certainly looks suspicious when the same review verbatim appears on separate websites .)
The same offerings by the same people through different websites. Look elsewhere.
Here is how they play: Looks freindly and professional. Once they deliver a sham list they disappear, don't answer phone calls email etc:
Payment has been made, when can we expect the list?
I have forwarded the payment details that you shared to my accounts team and once the payment is acknowledged by my accounts team, my data team will deliver the list as soon as possible.
Chris from by data team is marked on this email and will coordinate with you in delivering the list.
A question I have for you, if we get queries about where we got a doctor's email address from, I would like to be prepared with a explanation or disclaimer so that we are not reported for spamming these potential customers?
You can forward those clients to us and we will handle them.

In August 2017 we purchased a list from Globalzest.com based on their promise the following:
Project Details :
Provide a list of 5,375 contacts from the target audience mentioned below:
Criteria: Non-profit organizations
Geography: Southern and Central California 90001 to 93930
Title: IT Manager/Director or CFO or Owner/President/CEO
Records to contain:
Project Value: $1,000 USD
Our database comes with information like: Company Name, Company Website, Contact Name, First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, Executive Title, Address, City, State, Zip Code, Country, Phone, Industry, Revenue, Employees size and most importantly verified Email address.
Each contact will come to you with an guarantee of 100% on all contact details. However, considering major factors like, the domain you use to send campaigns, template, subject line etc. We only guarantee you 90% on the email deliverability. The list will come to you in an excel file for your own unlimited usage.
Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you

In October, they delivered the first list that they tried to pass off as having extra contacts but those contacts didn't meet the criteria we had specified.
My email to them on 10/18/17
We were told that the list would include LinkedIn profile, fax number, and number of employees. These were not included on the list you sent. Also, could I please get a copy of the invoice indicating that the list was paid for.
Another issue came up upon further review of the list that was sent. There were only 3149 contacts within the zip code range we requested - 90001 to 93930.
The original number quoted was 5300. That is 2151 contacts short. Can you please explain the discrepancy?
They replied with a new list on 10/25/17
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.
Please find the attached rework project for your review.

After making some 20 random test calls to the list, we discovered that the list was inaccurate. I sent a follow-up email marked URGENT
Chris/Andrew,
We have completed test calls with the list that we purchased and the results were very disappointing. Out of 18 calls, the results are as follows:
15 were not non-profit companies
18 had incorrect addresses
17 phone numbers were incorrect
The web URLs were incorrect for 9
16 of the contacts were incorrect
I would like to schedule a call with you ASAP, to discuss how we obtain a list that is accurate. Please contact me
To date, 11/14/17 I have yet to receive a call or email. I have left messages, called the numbers on their website and can't get anyone to respond. This company is a total scam and sells lists that garbage!
Do not work with this company! in the beginning they provided great service, gave us samples of names we were purchasing and were quick to get us files. Once we started to use the list over half was junk - we were reported as spammers for the high bounce rates and our email service provider threatened to end our contract. When i went back to global zest, they promised a new list. I have now received 10 emails guaranteeing a new list and have received nothing. I have called the company and been given the run around, and today when i finally got through to my sales rep - he hung up on me. I have been overly nice to this point and now am happy to be writing review online to hopefully help others not spend thousands on the same mistake!
Globalzestbs contacted us and asked if we wanted data of trade buyers at a exhibition. However after we bought the data
they sent a file that i guess out of 20 000 companies not 1% of them were at the exhibition. And this exhibition was in South Africa however most of the people came from UK from the data they sent me. We asked them to resend with yet anoter failed attempt. Now its being going back and forth with empty promisses . They are simply not capable of delivering the correct info . Be carefull . This is a scam!!!
Global Zest promised a list of conference names for an upcoming conference. The list was to target customers in higher education and to be delivered before the conference.
When the list was received, 6 of the first 10 entries were vendors at the conference (not higher ed customers). I asked that the list be corrected. Over the next week I received multiple versions of the list, all of them contained vendors. Also, I was unable to verify certain customers that I knew to be at the conference. This was not good data.
I have asked multiple times for a refund and each time I get delay tactics. At one point they even said that the delay was due to Hurricane Irma...which was pretty disgusting. I have had over 30 emails with some guy named "Craig" (no way that's his real name), with no reconciliation.
There are lots of alternatives to this company. Don't give these guys the chance...they won't deliver.
