I'm taking the time to write this review in hopes that it will help someone else. I truly wish I had already known about this company before they called me on the phone to present a deal to me to purchase a trip which turned out to be a time share presentation. It was nowhere near a deal when you end up spending well over $800 for the vacations that they offer you in outdated, dirty, moldy, mildew, stinky, resorts. But this is the catch "YOU WILL NOT GET ANYTHING THAT YOU PAY FOR. LAURA SCHIAVO IS A NATORIOUS LIAR." Don't believe anything that she says or (Phil), or anybody else affiliated with any of the companies she owns or manages. I not sure if Phil works with her company anymore. I heard that he left because he was tired of the bull$h!+. She has already been in hot water with the company Pro Travelers and now she is at it again. Scamming people of their money and telling lies about what she will give them when they attend the timeshare presentation, but you will not get any of it. She will promise you accommodation in a 5-star resort, Disney tickets, and restaurant gift cards; but none of this is true. I have already experienced it for myself.
First of all, it's going to take you forever for her to give you a reservation. It does not matter how much in advance you try to get the reservation. I tried getting a reservation 9 months in advance of my travel date, but guess what? I could not get the reservation. Laura Schiavo will always come up with a reason why she can't get you a reservation. She will even tell you that the resort is already booked; really? 9 months in advance. But her company supposedly is contracted with several resorts and you can't get a reservation with any of them 9 months in advance. I realized what the problem was. She will promise (lie) you that your accommodations will be with a 5 star resort, but in actuality the resort is more like a one star resort.
We took the first vacation to Dayton. We were told by Laura Schiavo that we will stay in a resort. The accommodations were in a hotel. A hotel that was so old and outdated. We checked in and went up to look at the room. Once we saw how the room looked: out & outdated, we stayed one night and made reservations at a resort in Orlando. We left the next day and drove to Orlando for the remainder of our vacation. Then months later we tried to use the rest of the vacation that we were promised. This time the accommodations were going to be in Orlando in a 5 star resort; according to Laura Schiavo. I already knew before I left to go to Orlando that it was not a 5 star resort. I researched the resort and it had horrible reviews. We did the same thing here. We did not stay in the room at the resort where Laura Schiavo got us the reservations because again this resort was NOT 5 star. It was old, outdated, dirty carpet, torn furniture, and just nasty; inside the room and outside on the property. The place looks like it has not been cleaned since it was built.
These types of accommodations show you what type of business that Laura Schiavo is trying to run. She does not compare to other well know companies who deliver what they promise the consumer. It appears that she just cannot tell the TRUTH about anything. She is such a BIG LIAR.
I advise anyone who reads this to be aware of this company and the name LAURA SCHIAVO. If you get a call from Imagination Vacations, Destination Vacations, or Global Vacations, hang up the phone. If you let them talk you into purchasing anything, you will sad that you did. Laura Shaivo thinks that she is getting over by SCAMMING and Ripping people off by taking their money and not delivering what she promises. In actuality she not getting away with anything.
