If you think you have insurance through your TD credit card think again. They use a third partly called Global Excel Management to handle their insurance. By handling I mean delaying, making you jump through hoops, making it impossible to comunicate with them and after many months denying the claim and hope you will go away at that point.
I had my trip interupted by quarantine on a cruise ship and was told the TD Insurance would cover it. We were stuck in a dinky room on the ship for six days and missed ports in Spain and Italy. All our shore excursions, meals, entertainment etc were lost for the six days. This amounted to a loss of $6000 that should have been covered by Gobal Excel.
After going round and round with mutiple people at Global Excel for 6 months they deny the claim because we made it to our destination on the cruise ship. AS IF CRUISING IS ABOUT GOING FROM POINT A TO B. I think we would have taken a plane if we just wanted to fly from Miami to Italy.
This company is terrible to even try to start a claim with. Any emails they send have no way to reply back and the phone number they give in the email is to their emergency number and goes no where else. They design everything so you can't contact them.
TD should be ashamed to be associated with Global Excel Management.
