My girls and I found a home on zillow for rent in August of 2017, we really liked it, we were able to walk through it with the prevsious tenants still moving out. I really didnt get a chance to see all the issues but did notice enough that made it not appealing to us. We decided to hold off renting for acouple of months due to me having a knee injury and needing surgery.

Once we were ready to start looking again and this same house was available. Thought it was a great thing. We liked the area and the house would work and the rent was good. I contaced Real Property Management talked to Jessica Gritton and another person Lisa. They gave us access to see the home and we noticed a few things.

The house looked like it was not cleaned and there was no back yard like the pictures showed. We did like the fact there was new carpet but we came to find out why. (they had multiple dogs there and they had soiled the floors so they had to replace the carpet... problem is they didnt stain or paint the subflooring so the smell came through which ended up being a horrible issues.)

They said they would work on these issues, they said they needed the deposit to secure the home, we got them the deposit and then the lease and the date to move in. I was still not doing so well from my knee surgery so my daughter and her boyfriend did most of the moving.

Once I was able to get moving I noticed the house was still gross and never cleaned that well. I would of never allowed a tenant to move into a home that looked this bad. Working with Jessica, she told me to Deal with it. What kind of property management says that??? I asked Lisa what was going on with the back yard, she told me to not to worry about dog deposit and pet agreement until the backyard was done. I had numerous calls to come out and do bids on the back yard. winter came and that got put on hold.

I had sent over the list of things that needed to be fixed and the problems that needed to be noted. This took a few days as there were so many issues with the house.

One of the problems was that there were no lights outside, front or back. I requested these but nothing was done.

Other issues were the water preasure was so low that you could not even clean off a plate, we had to run the dishwasher 2-3 times just to get the dishes cleaned, washing clothes was another joke. It took twice as long to shower beccause it took forever just to rince off. This was right after we moved in and the owner Glenn Jordan finally approved it 2/1/2018.

On this list was the tile was never cleaned, black spots in a lot of places. base boards covered in dirt. This was a let down for a property management. Come to find out I was in the middle of change over so I was one of those properties that fell through the cracks and we got ignored and no one even worked on this house.

We found out that the house had numerous flooding, there was mold in the basement recreation area, the house flooded 3 times in 2 months. They finally came in to start the mold and in the middle of it the owner stopped it so we had to pay for the electricity of the blower for a month. What kind of owner ignores these kind of issues. this house has mold issues in so many places and most of them he ignored.

My daughter downstairs had mold on her ceiling, her walls and in the shower, The bathroom vent I think was never cleaned and not taken care of before we moved in. The master shower someone siliconed the base of the shower and during the time we lived there there was mold growing under this, I slowly started peeling this and was told we would have someone take care of this but it was ignored. I had to use so much bleach just to try and keep it under control.

One of the biggest issues was when we moved in I asked for a light in the back, you could not even see down the stairs when it got dark. In November 2018 I slid down the back stairs and hurt myself pretty bad. 3 months later I had to have elbow surgery due to the hit on the railing. I told them numerous times that it needed a light and you should see the remarks I got from the property management and of course this never got done for a few months.

I put on the list that the railing going into the basement was broken, if you had to hang onto the rail you would fall. The workers for the mold stepped on a nail and was limping upstairs. grabbed the rail and just about fell over which was about 8 steps up. The worked had to fix this issue as the owner neglected this as well.

The other issues was when we looked at pictures there were stairs in the backyard going down to the walk out basement. For some reason that we found out later there was an area that was just dirt and when it rained it was a mud slide. In other words we had a hard time getting up or down to the walk out basement and the firepit that is in the pictures well that never worked and never got looked at either.

Who neglets their house so bad and makes it unsafe for anyone to live in. We found huge holes in the rock wall where there could be a possible drop of these rocks into the house. This back rockwall is so unsafe and needs to be fixed. we found out that the city wall already sank and fell that is why the stairs to go down to the back door was not in the correct spot and that spot was falling in again.

This was reported to the property management numerous time and by this time the owner said he never agreed to do anything to the back yard. Even after I had companies call me and come out to do bids. So we were left with a rock wall that is unsafe, no grass, no light in the back yard, no steps to the basement, flooding and the firepit was so torn apart I am sure it was unsafe.

I want anyone that looks at this house to NOT BUY IT. He cuts corners so bad that I am sure most of these issues were Bandaided and never taken care of. I have so many pictures of all of these issues, emails to show we were neglected than evicted over $500 late fees even after I tried to negotiate a payment plan.

When we were moving out things out it was raining the whole time, my daughter hurt her knew trying to go up and down the MUD SLIDE. Only after that did they take this serious. She was told not to go in the back yard anymore so she was not able to move her stuff as now he was responsible for her injuring her knee. Whe did he not take it serious when we lived there.

I feel like Glenn Jordan was unprofessional, uncompassionate and unetheical about the rental of this home.

Please take this serious about how this person took care of a single mom and her daughters living in this house and with so many issues that were neglected.

He decided to evict us so he could try and get more money from me, not only did he evict us he set us up to get locked out as well. Ashley at Kirt Cullimore law office told Linda from the church that we could stay until 4/26/19 to move out but that was just a set up to lock us out the following Monday, then ignored us for 13 days to negotiate a time to get out belongings than was holding our belongings hostage for money.

This is first illegal and unprofessional but I came to the agreement that not only was Glenn Jordan greedy, unprofessional, unetherical he was just a horrible person all together. I just want him to think about someone doing what he did to me and my girls have happen to his grand daughter he adopted. just imagine how he would not stand for someone treating anyone he loves the way he did us.

He has his own company but imagine what kind of person is this that would do what he did to a single mom and her girls.

I know this house is unsafe and if you even look at this house make sure you get an inspection and make sure they inspect everything.

I just dont want anyone to fall for what I ended up dealing with and please tell anyone that you know that this person will not treat you fairly and this house is an unsafe house.
