The Glenbrook Hyundai sales team let me know that they needed my car keys for an appraisal on my current vehicle. I didn’t see any concern at that time so I let them hold on to my keys, temporarily of course.
The salesmen knew that I couldn't just get up and leave so they had all of the other salesmen come up to where I was sitting and they rushed me. Two of the salesmen asked me repeatedly to purchase their vehicle and I let them know that I wasn’t interested. The other salesmen left but two remained. The two remaining salesmen continued to ask me to purchase their vehicle and I continued to let them know that I wasn’t interested. One of the two salesmen started to speak with incredible speed then he left the area. The remaining salesmen lost his temper and said to me "I PAID THE CAR OFF! WHAT IS THE PROBLEM HERE!" and continued to shout at me numerous times! I should have called the police but I was too upset and annoyed, I couldn’t think straight after being intimidated by the salesmen. I caved in due to the high pressure that I had received by the salesmen. I unintentionally accepted the deal because the harassment was just too much to bear. The salesmen were laughing and cheering and having such a wonderful time at my expense.
Bad and incomplet oil changes, caught red handed claiming did work but did NOT (work reported done but NOT done) and no refunds on oil change package, they signed MY name (someones but not mine) to a document and ignored Better Business Bureau inquiries.
Justin Stump Manager refuses to refund product/service I wish NOT to consume I paid for already. Fraudulently said I was aware of policy and agreed to 10/10/15 I chose their dealership for an oil change. I was solicited by a female "Jenny" in their service department, that I could buy an oil change package at a discounted price (for several oil changes). I purchased it but was never advised it would never ever be refundable if not used... After getting the 1st oil change, I checked to make sure they did install new oil & air filters (I always check behind places after any work done) to make sure I'm not ripped off and 1.
They never topped off windshield washer fluid, never checked or offered to change air filter, never checked cabin HEPA micro filter, inspected wiper blades (one needed replacement) yet their paperwork indicates it was performed. I confronted Justin the Manager and they gave me WW fluid to top it off myself, I knew they never even checked the air filter (because tape I had over screw was not removed or showing removal and replacement and I showed Justin the manager the filthy air filter in the car that obviously needed replacing (he then gave me one after confronting him) as well and I took pictures of these events and the old filthy and new air filter, in their sales lot with their building, mechanic and Mngr Justin their big commercial sign (on Coldwater rd.) in the background all while this was being attended to by their personnel. Anyhow, my WW fluid was topped off, I got a new air filter, Justin Mngr brought the mechanic who did the work and I asked the man why he checked doing these things (air filter, HEPA cabin filter, WW fluid) and he just shrugged his shoulders. Justin Manager asked me if I would like the mechanic fired on the spot, I told him I thought that was harsh and suggested he do something but not that. However, combining his actions and Justins refusal for a refund (of my unused / unspent money), I think they should both be fired... Anyhow, Justin the Manager said he refuses to give me back my unspent money. I have emails from him with respect to this conversation. Justin Manager also said it is their policy to never refund unused oil change packages to customers. I told him I was never made aware of this. He also told me it was non transferable to another vehicle (even if the vehicle was sold). He also told me I was aware of this and sent me an attachment on my email of the "contract" I signed when purchasing the non transferable, NEVER refundable unused - oil change package that remained unused and I agreed to these terms on the contract. I asked him to send me this "contract" and he did email it, but I never was told this, NOR DID I acknowledge these conditions. Their service is inadequate, incomplete, fraudulent, yes fraud - and I insist on a full refund or I will sue their company if this BBB complaint goes un settled.
The Better Business Bureau contacted them and was cooperating util they were questioned about a signature they put on my work order allegedly showing I was aware of terms and conditions with the oil change package I purchased.
