scammed and pissed off

My mom saw an ad down the street and called them, Anthony came and cleaned the A/C coil, said to wait one hour before turning it back on again.

We barely got any cool air, so she tried calling them but no answer this was June 13th. She called again yesterday, June 16th and no answer. Today she told me where she saw their number on an AD, so I looked them up and found out they were scammers. Had she told me where she found the number beforehand, I would have looked into them first and avoided being scammed.

I tried calling from multiple phones but no answers, not even the personal cell number of Anthony. So I asked my bank to dispute the charges, hopefully i can get it back.

On April 14 2020 I was looking for sombody to fix my A/C ,because it was not cooling . The situation is we are in this pandemic covid 19 ,stay at home order ,not working ,so I was looking for affordable price to fix my A/C . I called couple of the companies ,but they wanted thousands of dollars to put new A/C unit which I cannot afford at this time . So I did find an ad on the steet with Phone number 954-624-5412 and I called.

The technician Anthony showed in an hour ,went on my roof , said that my compressor is burn and I need a replacement ,which he can do for $749 and I will have 2 years guarantee for the parts , and in the future my price will be put for discount if I will be looking to put a new unit. So I did agree to the work ,paid Anthony $700 cash ( all my saved money) and $49 credit card and he said somebody is goig to come tomorrow .So the next day a differnt person came ,put a used compressor and said i should wait couple of hours so it will start cooling . After 4 hours I finally got the cool breeze . Next morning ,it was Friday , no more cool breeze, temperature in my apartment went to 84 , so I called them immediatly ,and the woman said they can come Monday . I was like WHAT???

At this point I did Google the company and find all the bad staff about them , scam alert , rip off alert , all bad reviews , I was devastated .Finally I got another company the check what is wrong with my A/C , and the technician said that the compressor is burn , and whatever they did it was a "sloppy job "he took pictures ,tried to fix it , but couldn't ,disconnected the part, to save me from more damage .Also said thet I should go after them .So I started calling them , but ther was no ansfer .So I was looking to a weekend ahead without A/C .

Monday morning I called Giovanni's A/C again I was supprised they answered and said they will call me .Anthony showed up ,went on the roof and newe came back to my apartment , just run .I keep calling them but no answer ,no voice mail , nothing .I recently find aut that the licence # 0213840540700 they have on the invioce is fake .Somebody has to stop this people from rippin off poor people ,especially in this pandemic situation .

I responded to a handwritten A/C sign posted all around my area in Miami Gardens. The phone number that was attached to that sign was 305 303-0765. I spoke with a somewhat abrupt woman but nevertheless, I was looking for some relief with my A/C problem so I continued the conversation. An appointment was set up for the next day.

On May the 29th, 2018, a white beat up workers van attended my apt with 2 workers. The workers came into my apt and found my A/C unit. One of the workers, Anthony, then asked me to sign their 'work order'. I asked why and he said that it was to acknowledge their initial $29 assessment fee. Next, they immediately tapped into my inside Freon line and then showed me a gauge stating that I was low on Freon. Anthony told me I needed 6 more pounds. Sounding simple enough, I agreed to the suggested fix. The 2nd worker appeared to be learning as Anthony was pretending to show him how to fix this issue. The 2 workers then went back out to the van and one of them brought back in a small tank that looked honestly like a propane tank, hooked it up to the line and within 5 minutes, all was done??? My A/C was cooling and not knowing any better, I thought the problem was fixed. The cost for this 'fix' was $160.00 cash.

Within 10 minutes, the 2 workers wrapped up, completed their work order/invoice and as they were leaving, provided me with a folded copy. As I had to lock up and rush off to work, I left my invoice on the kitchen table and never took a second look at it as all seemed to be in order.

2 days later, my apt was no longer cooling so I called back the number posted above to explain my problem. Once again, the woman I spoke with was VERY abrupt and now rude. Not understanding why she was so ignorant towards me, I asked to speak with a Supervisor as I didn't feel she could resolve this issue for me. A few more words were exchanged and I never did end up speaking with a Supervisor as she would not allow it. Instead she just ended with that I'd have to find someone else to fix my A/C and she then hung up on me.

This company is not in the business of fixing your A/C issues. As I took a closer look now at my invoice, after the fact, notes were written on there that it was pointed out to me that there were leaks in the unit and that that was recommended to be fixed but that I refused. NO SUCH CONVERSATION HAD TAKEN PLACE between the workers and I. All they did was point out that I was low on Freon and that was the ONLY fix necessary.

Also on their invoice, they noted that they were at my apt for 6-1/2 hours. Again, NOT TRUE at all! I would be stretching it if I said they were there for 15 minutes in total. And I can easily prove that as we have security cameras upon entry onto the property and exit so you can clearly see when the van came through the gate and when it left.

I called the number above 954-624-5412 I saw an add and requested A/C REPAIR They came to my Home said they were going to fix the leak with a special product. And add Frion they s**t off my A/C after Anthony the tech said it has to be off for an hour to dry then it will be fine. They left I pad $280. And when I try it on it started liking again. I called the number they hung up on me over 25 times
