Gianna House Pregnancy & Parenting Residence has a two-pronged outreach: a residence for pregnant teens 13-17 and an outreach with education and resources for any pregnant woman/mother in our programs. Gianna House provides a safe residence for pregnant teens and their newborn infants while providing spiritual, educational, parenting support and resources to underserved women in the community. Gianna House is positively impacting the community through continuing education (e.g. high school diplomas), physical and mental health care, in-home life skills training, parenting skills, financial management, how to start a small business and other training toward helping young women in crisis become self-supporting members of society. This is being accomplished by the dedication and devotion of care by amazing staff members that consist of an Executive Director, Residential Program Manager, Community Outreach Director, House Mother, Case Manager/Therapist and monitors who are active with the teens 24/7. I have been involved with Gianna House for several years and now serve on the Board of Directors. This staff amazes me with their love for these girls and women. I'm not one to post reviews, but I was so personally hurt and offended by the horrible accusations against this stellar organization and the people who make it possible, that I had to post this. The staff at Gianna House are absolutely amazing. They care so deeply for the residents that they are always going above and beyond. This is a tough population to work with as they are still babies having babies. These pregnant teens are encountering both the demands of parenthood and the pressures of adolescence while facing the daunting challenge of finding stable housing for themselves and their coming child. Gianna House provides these teens with adult supervision in a structured setting, providing a safe and nurturing environment to support the needs of both the teen and her pregnancy. We reinforce positive behavior and set guidelines in a way that mirrors sound parent-like expectations. Gianna House has created a “home” environment where teens can, many for the first time, finally feel the relief of being in a safe and loving environment.

What kind of suck people can accept donations, hard work from an employee who transformed the functioning of Gianna House then when the economy slows down they finish using and harassing the employee then fire her! Yes, a faith based Non-Profit organization, Gianna House located in Eastpointe will use you and abuse you as an employee. The internal staff are very abusive individuals that all seem very unstable which is why all the teen moms never stay!
Jennifer Brubaker and. Eugenia Hill are verbally abusive to the pregnant teens, they are also mentally abusive to employees. I was taken advantage of and they ruined over 400.00 worth of my personal items form my office that Hennifer Brubaker and smart Alice did not allow me to clean out after wrongfully firing me. The two very unstable individuals used me asking how I do everything, creating lists and the order of functioning so they can do as I was doing creating a positive smooth functioning program.
The people in charge of Gianna House are very abusive people who will harass you until they can control you, if you do not allow them to use you then they will treat you like a criminal.
