Waiting for the promise of repayment to be made by these scammers has been a nightmare.
I invested/loaned them money 7 years ago. Once they pulled the plug on the establishment in which I invested, they (specifically Tom Matzen) wrote multiple letters stating that, although it would take a considerable amount of time, he (Tom Matzen) made repeated promises that our base investment would be returned. We were to be purchasing shares in his failed company ParMasters, which would “certainly yield a high return”. When then went belly up is when these promises to repay the base investment began. And despite checking in with him to see where we stand on that repayment, he has failed to do so. So they have either stolen thousands of dollars from me or are grossly delinquent. Either situation is poor business.
I have kept the communication that I’ve had directly with the person making these promises for a ridiculous amount of time, Tom Matzen, and every time I press him about this return of funds, he continues to say that it will take time. The conversations have even gotten somewhat heated on his end. And for some reason, I am the one, not out enjoying all that travel, but keeping my cool and expecting him to follow through.
Another individual has stated that, “…the British Columbia Securities Commission has even come forward and informally accused them and the agreement to be borderline fraudulent.” To this I would certainly agree as I suspect all of the people with whom I was associated with at the time would agree.
Precisely as in the case with the prior complainant, “they told me over and over and over that they didn't have any money to pay me, only to find out (through their own publications and admittance) that they spent $50,000 to join a mastermind project and $35,000 on legal templates for another business.”
Comparatively speaking, my investment as compared to the hundreds of thousands these guys spend jet-setting all over doing “seminars” is just a drop in their buckets. But with my financial status, this investment was huge. And for them to finally repay me would certainly not break their banks. It is unconscionable that this has not yet occurred and speaks volumes to character.
So don't buy into their hypocritical tag line to "play with integrity" because they sure don't!
*Because the previous person who filed a report stated exactly what happened to me with this company, I will be referencing some of his or her statements in quotes above.
