Good morning! I was in an automobile accident 07/13 , 2012 Kia Sportage. Insurance Agent, suggested Gerber Collision (Big Mistake), 4670 S. Palo Verde Rd. , Tucson, Az. Body damage and mechanical damage; primarily front driver's side. The vehicle was driveable with a functional air conditioner (no issues). Approx. one week later, Kia was picked up and without issues. The following day, AC stops operating. My wife, Randy Immediately calls Tim at Gerbers. Tim States " an Electrical Issue" to return Kia and Issue be corrected. In body shop, Tim stated that tech disconnected Disconnected compressor. Upon realizing that major compressor issues with AC Compressor exists, excuses from Store Manager, comes about: 1. AC unit not damaged in auto accident 2. Compressor internally exploded 3. Ins. Co , not paying for damaged compressor! 4. Jason E. /Gerber Collision/ Store Manager was the sole organization that physically Unplugged the AC Compressor and has left it unplugged. 5. Gerber Collision had Royal Kia in Tucson, Diagnose AC. Diagnostic states " Compressor exploded internally! 6. Gerber Collision was the only organization. other than Kia to check AC. How could the AC Compressor have exploded internally ? The Gerber techs Unplugged the AC Unit and being in a hurry; forgot to replug and make the electrical connection; causing the compressor to internally explode!! More excuses from Gerber Collision not to fix Compressor than Obama!!
Gerber fixed my car after I had an accident. Approximately 2 years later I was at a car wash washing my car. I noticed paint chipping off the front end of my car which was where Gerber repaired my car.
I went into Gerber and asked for a manager to look at my car. I showed him where the paint was chipping and he told me I had another accident with my car! No I did not! He insisted I had been hit then by someone while my car was parked.
Gerber refused to fix /repaint what they had originally repaired. The paint has been peeling off more and more on the front end.

Horrible customer service. Has had my truck since June 20, 2016. They did body work first and fail to check engine when I told them it had a noise after the accident. Now supposedly I need a new motor my frustration is that all this information should have been on orginal quote so my insurance is aware that we have to have a new motor. On top of all the body work. So they have a chance to total the car instead of paying for the body repair than finding out motor is bad now and needs to be repaired because you failed to address it. I firmly believe that my insurance company would of totalled the vehicle if they where aware of the motor as well as all the body repair. Now it seems like I can't get any answers seems to me Jeremy dropped the ball on the over all estimate for my insurance company. Now it seems kinda weird he no longer works there.
