Generation Kia Reviews

Even an explanation in Spanish, with agreed amounts and then what you sign in English is something totally different, and when you ask why these amounts are different, they give you wrong answers. since an amount of 38,600 for the vehicle was agreed, which included their alleged commission plus 1,522 for an oil change service... and since it was by leasing, they were going to work based on 57% of the amount, and it turns out that they gave me the full price of 38,600 and they calculated my monthly payments based on $50,000, which is unknown where it came from... taking advantage of the consumer to defraud.

Joe Catalanotto and Generation Kia are a disgrace! No one arranged to pick up my trade-in as part of my new lease agreement -- They did not pick the car up from the mechanic shop where it had broken down. I pleaded with them for weeks to get the car. The mechanic was kind enough to not storage fees for the first 10 days, on day 11, he starting accruing them under my name. since December 2017 Generation Kia still has never picked up the car! It is now the middle of March 2018...! After several weeks, now months of getting no phone call or any type of resolution, I received tickets and summons to appear in court from Ordinance Enforcement from the Village of Lindenhurst because the vehicle was found abandoned on the side of the road. If I don't appear in court next month and respond to the tickets/summons, a warrant will be issued for my arrest. Even after reaching out to the dealership once again to relay the message to the Owner, Joe Catalanotto, I still have gotten no return phone call. I guess an on-going complaint/investigation with the Attorney General and Consumer Affairs is just not enough; it's come the point that I'm being forced to retain legal assistance and will continue to pursue legal action.

Additionally, on a slightly smaller scale... multiple hard inquiries were run against my credit report by this dealership. I leased one vehicle, NOT three! My many requests for letters that I can send to the major credit bureaus, to have the inquiries removed, have also gone completely ignored.

Aside from all of this, Generation Kia did not pay the full balance on the Buick as agreed upon. No one from the dealership would return my calls or simply pay the final balance. So I was forced to pay Capital One so as to avoid further negative hits to my credit and to pay the car off once and for all.

These are just the major aspects of my horrible encounter.
