I purchased a Headphone Cable from Geekria. It didn't work the second I opened it. There was a business card size piece of paper in the packaging that said that essentially said "If you have any issues with this item. Don't contact the seller. Contact us directly. 30 day money back guarantee. 1 year replacement warranty for any reason". The Listing that I purchased it from also said the same thing.
I went to Geekria.com and contacted support. I did receive a response very quickly. But the customer service people were not helpful at all. They clearly wanted to do as little as possible. Even going as far as accusing me of not actually purchasing the item. They asked me to email them photos as proof. I did. I still have the item and all of the original packaging. All of the packaging says Geekria all over it. I sent pictures of the item, the packaging, as well as screenshots of my order confirmation.
I never heard anything back. Over 2 weeks past and I send another message in the same email thread. Demanding a response. They responded in a completely new email thread saying they never received my pictures. I emailed the pictures to them again. I even BCC the reply to another one of my email addresses to make sure the images appeared. They did. I have not heard anything from them since.
If they would have just told me that they couldn't help me. I would accept it. Instead they just want to play games and help as little as possible.
Because they left me hanging for so long. I ran out of time for being able to return the item to get my money back.
Thankfully I did not spend a lot of money on the item. I work in online customer service. I know the games that are played. They do not care about their customers or product.
I haven't purchased any of their other items. And obviously wouldn't do it now. But if this simple item is an example of their quality and customer service. I won't be spending any more money on them. Hopefully others won't either.
I added a one of the pictures they said they "Didn't Receive" as proof.
