I needed help with my computer, the sound stoppedworking. I was able to use all applications freely but it had no sound. The number that was given for Lenovo support was 800-832-5456, "Geek Support".
After 4 days and Possibly 30 hrs on the phone, I was setting with a totaly empty computer. Everything was wipped out There excuse was that it was a "bad computer" and it wasnt there fault. They said they were going to send me a USB drive overnight for dowloading windows. It is now 13 days and still no device to re-start my computer. After talking to them them say its the mails fault and to be patient with them. I told them that I wanted my $150.00 back for their service charge and compensation for my computer. Of course they disagree.
I called my credit card company and placed a complaint and they are going to refund the $150 back and follow up with them. After reading all the negative reports on line and the rip offs from this company I am now afraid to work with them at all. I am not going to down load the USB they send (if indeed they sent it) becuse I am leary of their intentions.
I now have to put money out for a new computer (of which I live on a fixed income) and this is just not right at all.
