Recently I had a Cornovirus scare at my job at IU Health. I had been quarantined for two weeks, been bed ridden with symptoms, been to the emergency room with my elderly mother and finally gave all IU Health Employees access to free tests.

My test came back negative. We we're blessed. During this time I had been looking online for survival gear in case I was infected and I needed to make a trek away from my family and basically go find a place to put myself to rest.

This is what brought me to gearspear.com They offered a wide selection of items that fit the bill of the paradigm I had at the time.

I decided that I would use my last check from IU Health to get stocked up on survival items in case I had to leave my the city with my family.

They offered free shipping on specific items that met a price range. My order qualified. So ibpaid them through PayPal. An abnormal amount of time passed by and I reached out to them because I had not gotten a tracking number, nada.

They told me to be patient due to the pandemic. They told me WHEN IT SHIPPED I would get a tracking number.

From this point I still was not comfortable with the exchange. So I emailed them to cancel the order.

Their rebuttal was that they did not typically give refunds on orders after 24 hours. Naturally since it was an item that had not been shipped let her statement.

In-between these emails they stated my refund had been given but I never seen it. Mind you this all happened today on Saturday Apr 4

So I told them that I would alert the authorities. Samantha C called me a dumb s**t. Told me to go f*ck myself and that I had only made the order Friday.

So with all that being said do I feel like they will honor the refund they stated they gave? My card is still out there and more than that people need to be aware that...

Merchants that feel like they are doing you a favor allowing you to spend your money, for deals and what have you doesn't denote the fact THAT YOU ARE STILL PAYING YOUR MONEY.

Integrity matters. The country is in a very great uproar and people like this are not what is going to help us heal on this time of crisis. These kind of people are the bottom feeding degenerates that are profiting from the suffering of people all over this country.

They should be held accountable and of not each of us than who? The "than who" is what empowers these people to work from home and scam and mistreat hard working people.

People who still have to physically go into a job and run the risk of being hospitalized trying to make a honest living. That bus what our country is about. That is heart, soul and integrity.

Gearspear doesn't stand for any of that. No matter if I get my refund or not don't empowers them with the idea of who is going to take action.

Take action right now. Let my 59.99 that is going to take food out of my mouth be your liberty. How we stand up as individuals in this time of crisis is to be United in how we hold online merchants accountable.
