ALL CATTLE BUYERS BEWARE OF GARRETT HILL OF ROYSTON, GA! He runs an online cattle scam that is based in several different cities in NE GA. He normally claims to be from Royston, Lavonia, Carnesville, Ila, Hartwell, and even Commerce. Garrett Hill is purchasing OLD smooth-mouthed cows at the Carnesville auction, and the Upstate Livestock Auction, and selling them online as "young-bred" cows. We purchased 11 cows from him for $20,000. He told us that the cows were all between 4-6 years old, and ALL were confirmed bred. He had a "professional hauler" deliver the cows, and as soon as I saw them, I could tell that they were much older than 4-6, so I had the vet come out the next day and inspect the cows. The vet said that ALL 11 cows were over 12 yrs old, and only 1 of the 11 was bred. Garrett Hill scammed us out of 20,000, and I am NOT the first person this has happened too. He has been banned from ALL the large cattle groups on facebook, but is still trying to scam people on FB and Craigslist.
Garrett and his father, Mark Hill are in business together, so don't let them fool you. Be sure to have a VET confirm ages of ALL cows PRIOR to purchase. Don't take ANYONE's WORD for it. We believed, and got totally skrewed! ALL CATTLE BUYERS BEWARE OF GARRETT HILL!
