I purchased a 2016 FORD F150XLT with 34000 miles on it. I put 3000 miles on it before it left me stranded on the side of the road. The owner before me was also left on the side of the road both times due to a fuel related issue. Now it needs a fuel pump and no dealership in the nation has one. Apparently they don't carry parts and get them on a need to have basic, only now no one has this and FORD will void my warranty if I purchase one from one of the auto parts stores. They have plenty of them. The dealership tells me that a fuel pump might be there in JANUARY or not. This is a rip off. These people are holding my truck hostage and its all due to the sorry parts and service department. Any reputable dealership would not treat a return customer in this fashion. They have plenty of new fuel pumps on their other trucks on the lots they can get. It appears they could care less about the customer after they have the money. Their attitude is "get the suckers trust, then get their money".
