I would not recommend this company to anyone! I ordered a door in July; it was delivered in September after a long delay because of Covid-19. The door arrived but would not fit per the installer. The salesman who I contracted with took wrong measurements so door could not be installed. When the installer called him to let him know, salesman said - "well, it won't fit so we will have to send another", he goes on to say that he will call me by the end of business day to let me know when new door would arrive and schedule this with me.

No phone call, after two days waiting, I had to call him and leave a VM; basically, having to chase him to find out where the door is that I paid for! The second door took another 3 weeks. When the door arrives, it had windows, which I did not order because of HOA guidelines (which salesman knew) and was on the contract – no windows. The delivery / installer even knew it was wrong because first door did not have windows. When I called customer service about wrong door again, I was told that salesman spoke with me about windows and I said it was ok - FLAT OUT LIE!! NO ONE FROM GARAGE DOORS UNLIMITED EVER REACHED OUT TO ME ABOUT WINDOWS!!

Customer service then sends a letter to my HOA manager stating that they were installing a wrong door with windows after speaking with "the homeowner who informed them windows weren't allowed" and insinuating it was my fault. The letter goes on to blame the manufacturer for mislabeling the box (which they did the first door that was sent with incorrect measurements). The incorrect door was installed because I could not wait any longer for new door, the installer proceeds to install wrong motor and keypad. I ask him where the motor I ordered and he says “you didn’t order that one, this is the one you ordered” even though it was clear on my contract and paperwork that I had and showed to him.

Another hour later, the new motor and keypads are installed (really?????) The worst part about this whole experience(s) is that the complete lack of common courtesy, communication and transparency. When wrong door is ordered with windows, no one calls me to let me know - instead, sends it with delivery / installer anyway and then blames the customer (me) for having to install the wrong door. My time and my energy is wasted (as I have to be home each time delivery; now I have to be home again to take out panel with window!), I have not faith that the new panel will come and when it does that it will be installed correctly.

I am frustrated and angered that I have to deal with a negligent company who charges in advance for work that they will not deliver and HAVE OFFERED NOTHING in terms of reparation – what I got was a bunch of apologies and “sorry”.

It is now December and I have received yet two additional calls to schedule the replacement panels and then re-schedule again because the company didn’t have installers to install.

There was a promotional offer of $329.00 costco shopping card also tied to this order, once project is complete the company will process this card. Since the project is not complete, the company will not even start the process. The entire project must be completed and signed off on, which is not yet complete.

TRUST ME PEOPLE - USE ANY OTHER GARAGE COMPANY OUT THERE!!!!!
