As most people would do when purchasing a product that is flawed or deceptive they would ask for a refund. I did so after purchasing a horribly made online game called Cross Out which was developed by Gaijin entertainment. Unbeknownst to me and NEVER reported by customer service that by requesting a refund was a reason to remove my user account from another game under that same company.
As a digital product there is no physical item to keep. Simply they turn off access to a product that was paid for with hundreds of hours invested into.
Essentially this is like returning an item to your favorite retail store and once returning they have blocked your ability to shop there again forever. It is beyond a bad business practice and criminal.
