Most reviews for this place are awful and my experience has been TERRIBLE!! Honestly the worst moving company ever!!!! So they quoted us about $2200 to move, showed up and wanted an extra $1200!!!! I hadn't accumulated anything extra in the week or 2 since talking to them, but no way was I going to pay 1200! I had to move that day so I threw away and gave away a bunch of our stuff and STILL ended up paying $2600+. Unbelievable. Then to top it all off, they just left our stuff in the truck and never moved at all for 2 weeks!!! Meanwhile we are calling about our stuff, dispatch never knows where they are, when they are coming or anything useful. Now we just get voicemail. We can't reach the drivers, for all we know they took off with our stuff and we'll never see it again! Last i heard it had been 2 weeks and they still hadn't even started driving with our stuff yet. The driver blamed the dispatcher and the dispatcher blamed the weather.
Full House Movers was a disaster from beginning to end. Our original estimate was 4800 dollars for a full house move; meaning they pack everything, load it, deliver it, set up furniture. AFTER LOADING THE TRUCK THEY CHARGED US 7800 DOLLARS AND DEMANDED PAYMENT ON THE SPOT. ANYONE SPELL DECEPTION?
Many of our precious and valuable items were damaged or destroyed, they loaded up their truck and couldn't fit our stuff in it, so they left the remainder for us to move. Given we had a hard deadline to be out of our home we had to sleep on the floor that night, get up early and rent a U-Haul trailer and get a trailer hitch installed, then pack the remainder and move it up here to Oregon.
When they arrived in 12" of snow, which we told them there was snow (and they said they will chain the truck) they refused to chain the truck so they couldn't get our stuff up the driveway. They dropped many items, broke items, and our full sized grand piano remained innt he garage not moved up to the living area which they promised.
We had to hire a separate company to move the piano up the flight of stairs.
Our artwork, flatscreen TV, our sculptures, our sleep number bed were destroyed. And when we called them to ask for a partial refund they blew us off.
