Freewallet is a fake crypto wallet,they stole $140,000 from me. They cancelled my first outgoing transaction, and after I tried to make another one, they wrote that my account was suspended. I received an email from them saying "We’d like to inform you that our security system has detected suspicious activity on your account." "In case it was a hacking attempt, we had to temporarily suspend withdrawals from your account. This way, your funds will be absolutely safe, and access will be restored once the verification procedure is finished." I discovered a lot of the same cases all over the web about the way to perform a scam. Even I agree to pass the verification process because my money is totally clean, but in order to pass verification, you need to enable 2FA authentication. Then I try to enable it in my account. Google Authenticator gives me the code, and Freewallet says it is the wrong one. Luckily in my research I found a crypto investigating firm that helped me get back my funds,a complaint form can be filed to them on bit.ly/3i3bep7 I hope they can also help you as they did me.
Freewallet is a scamming company. Im a victim on 3 different FreeWallet apps. I have 2 accounts from 2017/2018 that they have locked me out of because they changed the app and platform.
I have KIN coins i can not access on a third account from back then (not counted as part of the 3) because i cant remember the email used. I bought over a billion KIN coins as i planned to use them anyway, on online forums i am apart of. The price was so cheap anyway.
The platform i opened the accounts in, no longer exists. Locking me out of my wallets and giving me the run around (still to this day i have not been given any access to the old wallets). Just a message saying to download their new wallet and not to worry my funds were safe.
Fast forward all these years later, they have not given me access as of this end of december of 2021.
Currently they have just scammed me out of my XRP, BTT, SUB & TRX that ive been trying to move out of my account. At first only smaller amounts as i only wanted to exchsnge for a new coin i dont have yet. Which ive successfully done earlier this year. However, now? Im not getting my cerification emails... i get every support email. Not a single verification email.
freewallets rude staff run you around in circles until you lose your mind. They constantly ask you to provide the exact information you have provided over and over, for how ever long you cater to their game..
freewallet claims that apple is blocking their messages. However staff is able to communicate with me. Apple has provided more than enough evidence to show clearly that not a single message sent has been "blocked" or sent to the spam/junk folder to be removed by them on the icloud/@me end. Freewallet is lying.
Im concerned this is going to turn into a full fledged international scam. Basing it off of the fact that i have access to my account. But they wont let me remove funds. They claim they send verification messages. They do not. they wont let me chsnge my email. They just ask for the same information over and over.
After searching online ive found so many others that freewallet is doing this to. So i feel it is my duty to report & file complaints with the SEC & FTC and make some noise now.
I invested approx $2900 and account was never unlocked, no verification yet, 14 emails, they asked for proof of ownership which I sent trades, ID, all kinds of documentation, yet all the responses are "A ticket has been created". What a RIPOFF!!!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AS A WALLET!!!! I bought DOGE in it and as it stands today my acct is over $18,000 and can't touch it!!! Watch these companies that are based overseas, they cannot be touched!!!
On 14/02/2019 i descided to download ethereum wallet appp made by Freewallet-Crypto Financial services. Over the course of months I kept depositing and withdrawing ethereum and untill 30 October 2019 when I made a usual deposit of 1 ethereum to my wallet and then withdrew 0.27458 ethereum everything was normal.
On 2nd November 2019 my demand for 0.390905 ethereum withdrawal was refused for no reason and further attempts proved to be fruitless.
I kept contacting the freewallet.org online support which proved to be futile.
On 19th December 2019 I finally received an email from free wallet claiming that I had performed a suspicion activity and till next notice all actions were suspended.
On 20th December 2019 I received an email from support center demanding submission of all my personal documents including:
1-screenshot from the source of deposited funds.
2-information on origin of the funds
3-clear close up photo of my id
4-links to my social network accounts
5-A personal photo of me in front of my laptop with the app open and my id visible.
Prior to this event I had made a total of 48 transactions none of which would have been considered suspicious, all of the sudden when my balance becam a noticeable sum, so conveniently the company decided to freeze my wallet and deemed my transaction suspicious.
This app is nothing but pure scam on the following grounds:
1-they never explained how they detected my transaction to be suspicious
2-demanding access to private social network of an individual is illegal and an obvious sign of a bigger scam
3-this wallet is owned by a private company in Hong Kong and is not a legitimate banking or even a financial organisation so how could one trust sending them their identification documents?
4-just a simple visit to trustpilot website would show you how many more people are swindled by them like me.
