Freedom RV Reviews

We purchased a brand new Viking tent trailer (model 2308) on March 30th, 2018 and were welcomed to the Freedom RV family. We finally took it on its first camping trip on Memorial day, on which we found a number of issues, including, but not close to limited to: • Refrigerator does not work on electric mode • Leaking faucet • Sink doesn’t drain well • Axles were leaking grease • Awning was not installed correctly • The door is partially broken, as was the outside storage compartment • The second time I opened it in our driveway, I also noticed the storage compartment was leaking and the bed no longer extended out. Remind you, this is a brand new unit, never used before. Considering the number of issues (not all listedWe attempted to return or exchange the unit, but were made a bunch of empty promises, coming back on them the day after. Freedom RV stated they’d never seen this many things wrong with a new unit, but are unwilling to provide us with a new unit Then they proceeded to lie to us and stated that there is no lemon law on RVs.

Find out for yourself at: If this is how they treat family, I’d hate to see how they treat anyone else.

I give the company a big fat ZERO! We bought a used motorhome from these people at the fair grounds this past August, 2017. We paid cash and were told that everything in the rv would be inspected and fixed if something was wrong. I expressed my concern that the roof might be leaking but couldn't tell for sure. They told me they would give it the hose test. We drove our rv home the following week. After a week we started smelling something molding. lifted up the bunk mattress and way in the front it had been leaking and rotting. I got up on the roof with my husband's help and washed the roof off to see if it was at all leaking and inside the front corner of the bunk it was leaking like a sieve. I called the manager and asked if there was anything they would do for us. He told us to bring it back and they would "make it right". I was assured from Mr. Lane that it was not their policy to let something go out of their lot in that condition.

I was relieved.

Made an appointment to take it back and have them fix it. (mind you we live 3 hours away). A week and a half went by and no word so I called for an update. The service guy said that it was fixed, I asked what had been done? He told me "nothing, they left it out in the rain and it didn't leak". I asked him if they had lifted the mattress in the bunk to check it out and he said, "why would we do that if it isn't leaking?" Needless to say I got very upset. I then asked to talk with Mr. Lane. Mr. Lane told me there was nothing wrong with it and I told him again that it was leaking like a sieve and the bunk was rotting and reminded him of his promise to "make it right". He got sarcastic with me and said, "what does make it right mean to you?" We picked up the rv and will NEVER recommend these people to anyone. In fact, we have a lot of family and friends in the Spokane area, some who own businesses and they have found our testimony to be of great interest and will pass it on.

In January we purchased an RV from Freedom RV. We paid $ 1773.00 for the title, registration and license plate. We called in February to inquire about our title, registration and license plate. We were advised that it takes 3 months. We made plans for a vacation from May 13 to June 21. We called again in April and were told that it was being processed and we would receive them in 2 weeks. We contacted ADOT and they advised they had no reord of it. That means that the person either lied or didn,t follow up. We spoke with Freedom RV again and were advised that the papers were not filled out correctly and they have completed them and overnighted them. This means that the paper work was not completed correctly for 4 months, again no one was following-up or they just lied.

Spoke with the sales manager 2 weeks later, on June 6 and he advised that they hired a Title company on May11. He advised that we would receive the Title, registration and license plate the next day. We told him that we had made plans for a vacation and we should receive compensation for loss of use. The sales manager laughed at us. We made the statement that maybe he sold us stolen property and he laughed again. We suggested that we would drive the RV back to Quartsite where we purchesed the RV and retur it with a full refund and he laughed.

We contacted ADOT again and were advised again they had no record on file. We spoke with Mike at the title company and he advised that the paper work was still not completed correctly. He also advised that they have had other people complain about Freedom RV.

We paid $1,773.00 and it cost $ 982.36 a difference of $ 790 64 for incompetant service. We feel we should receive this money back along with loss of use.
