I opened a line of credit for Deutsch when he landed a large job. Never had an issue with him before
All went well for the first few months, then, he was getting late on his payments, until, one day, he evaporated, at least, only with me it seems, he was still operating, doing jobs and contracts, but actively evading me at all costs. I tried to track him down, and I come to find out he is not at the address on his forms, checks or what he provided me in the credit application, he provides his old address and phone number, not the address and phone where he is currently doing business.
I know, seller beware, I placed too much trust in Deutsch, and he paid me back in spades; I now have $75,000.00/plus in debit that I am almost certain he will never pay.
It is now up to the courts and hopefully the police to sort out.

I am not surprised at all about this. I have health with Frank for many years, he is, at best, not consistent with his business practices. I have always heard back at opening a line of credit for him, and if I did, I made sure that it was limited to as small an amount as could be.
I have seen him walk away from 10's or thousands that he had owed people, without a thought! To him, it is the other person's cost of doing business with him; basically, they gamble if he will be paying or not.
He moves his operation whenever the heat gets turned up too much. Now he is at a different location in Cherry Hill after burning his commercial and residential location. I really pity the person that is renting to him now, they will come to see the error of their ways soon enough.
I am sorry for your loss, you will not be getting your monies back, I am certain of that.
I know that he currently has a large job somewhere in Cherry Hill (The development where the race track used to be) that is a larger ongoing job, maybe you can reach out to the management of that job for some help in getting your cash from him.

I thought I was the only one that fell for the poor ol Frank routine, all the pity me stories, the not being paid for his work so he couldn't pay me o time, and then, you guessed it, he walked in the end and we were left holding the loss.
I thought I knew him well, hell, known him for years, never really new that he was as underhanded as this.
Thankfully, I was able to keep my losses low, never really let him just run up his bill like he always wanted. Sending his workers or kid in to "Pick a few things up" with no check or credit card to use. (My grandson who owns the company now was the one that showed me how he was always late, underpaying, and was always emailing or faxing for extensions on payments. Great kid!)
I was going to cut him off when he simply stopped coming in and answering the phone, emails, and is never in his office (The one he is renting on Chapel Avenue in Cherry Hill, NOT the OTHER one in Chery Hill or his home on Greenvale, nor the location he had off of 73 in Berlin.) A simple sign is in the window of the new location is the only indication he is at this location, hell, the sign is held up with tape! I guess it's easier for him to pick up and run with no signage or other advertising.
I wrote down the bad debit for Frank and got in touch with some others to make sure they know.
WOW! I wish I knew all Frank Deutsch Electric before I fell into this trap! I found Frank from a friend when I needed some quick turn around work done after my last electrician simply never showed back up for weeks on end, holding up a job that had to be completed for my son to come home from rehabilitation after his accident. My friend told me that he used Deutsch in the past and was happy with is work. I should have gone with my first instinct when I was calling and leaving what seemed at the time to be a never-ending string of voice mails for him to call me to get the job.
He did call back, a month later, but with the recommendation that came from my friend, I decided to overlook the hiccups in the beginning; not the first time I have worked with contractors, specifically electricians, so I thought I knew what to look for to get in front of problems. Brother, was I wrong – so horribly wrong! I needed some work done on an addition that was added for my son who was just in a sports-related brain/spine injury and now must use a wheelchair and other assistive devices. We had an addition added that was essentially a small condominium on our property to give him his independence and still allow us to help if needed.
Most of the work was done, all the ruff-out, most of the drops, etc. Deutsch only had to come in, tie up the loose ends, get everything okayed by the township and my boy would be home and starting his new life. All the work was being finalized when the township came to ask why work was being done when no valid permits were reissued for Deutsch to complete the work. He and I discussed this, spelled it out on the contract, included it in the pricing breakdown we agreed upon months ago. Here I come to find out he never pulled the new permits, was working without permits on my, and other jobs, as well as working with no current business insurance.
The township shut us down, issued fines, and put our son’s addition under the microscope for electrical inspection (As well as many other aspects that cost me thousands of dollars to already have done, signed off on, and ready to go.) End result. I am preparing litigation with Deutsch for what he did, I had to hire another electrician, go thru the entire process again, and have the local inspector essentially living in the addition since he is here every single day that I have a contractor on site. Deutsch and I could not agree to what extent he left the job incomplete and fraudulent. I demanded the balance of the deposit and progress payments be returned/refunded. I was not demanding all the monies returned. Even though he played fast and loose with my job, his men (3 sons actually) needed to get paid for what work they did do, no matter how incompetently, they are men, doing a job and they should get paid for their effort.
Well, Deutsch took that to mean that he could keep the entire deposit and incremental payments that he received already, not a trivial amount, over $18K in play at this point just for the job, not losses or impacts or anything else. I tried working with him, but, I simply cannot, he is pigheaded, abusive, threatening, and not very mentally balanced, he has threatened me, my wife (A naturalized citizen), my daughter (A Minor), my son (A paralyzed 20-year-old) and my MIL. Some of the things he said are just horrible and horrendous, who attacks a woman under 5 feet tall and calls her a "Slope” and tells her to get back in the kitchen or bedroom!?!? Whenever he called after that, mostly at night to yell and scream at me about how much of a "Girl” I was being, how he was going to make me pay for kicking him to the curb, how he knows people in my profession and he will let it out that I am a drunk, a wife-beater, and other outrageous lies. When he yelled at my wife, daughter, and MIL in the driveway stinking like a brewery, a neighbor called the police and they were sent out, but he had already left the property by then.
That was the final straw, I tossed him off the job 100% and considered calling the police back to press charges, but my wife said not to pursue the matter and just get the money back and be done with his racist and toxic person. I attempted to set something up for him to make good on every promise he made about returning the money, I tried for over 3 months, with no luck whatsoever. My friend that recommended him tried to talk with him, that did not go well, seems they used to be friends, not so much now so it seems. My friend tells me that Deutsch has been actively burning bridges for years, and he came to find out that he is stealing at every chance he gets.
I enlisted an attorney to help have the money returned, that is when I found out all the underhanded things Deutsch has done, he is on notice from the county (Mercer County in my case, as well as most of the counties in southern NJ, Philadelphia, Montgomery, and other counties in PA.) The job is completed, my son is home, has been since before the COVID issues started, for that I am thankful. The condo we had constructed is completed to the townships and me and my son’s satisfaction. Everything is ongoing with the attorney and will proceed unless Deutsch makes good on what he owes. I guess my final thoughts are that anyone who hires Deutsch under whatever name is going by, whatever of his multiple addresses and phone numbers he uses if he returns calls or is even available by phone, will be taking their own job into their own hands.
He is not trustworthy, he is unreliable, a thief, a scoundrel, and he very easily could become dangerous with all of this c****ure pride and bluster; in reality, he is nothing more than a schoolyard bully that is unable to run his own company, and thinks he can steal to make up for losses he himself incurred. Bottom line: Do not hire Frank Deutsch, if you do, I can with almost 100% certainty, state that he will rob you and not complete the job.
I hired this creep to installs some new services to add in my home that was completed many years ago, With a growing business and family and the need for more electricity, I thought I would go with a friends' recommendation - I should NOT have done that! Worst idea in many years for me.
After my divorce, I decided to up the services in an addition that was initially for my family, but have recently redone it to move my office into the home.

Lo and behold, it's Frank, looking to start the job. Some BS story about his daughter being ill. (I found out later, he has no daughter, and had used this excuse with many others that he cheated.)
He claimed he had to do a walk-thru again since he "Knows" he missed some things. Not my first race folks, I let him do his walkthru, knowing full well that my estimate pricing is about to go thru the roof.)
Surprise (Flag #4, #5, & #6), the price went up, not a few, not a few hundred, but by $4500 (Yes Fourth Five Hundred Bucks!) He claims it is all permitting and other administrative costs, and that he submitted a proposed project plan with Mout Laurel (NEVER DID!), and that they made changes that will cost me most fo the extra money. I never signed, told him to get the hell out, and thought that was the end of it, silly me, serial conmen rarely give up that easy. I asked for and never received my deposit when I told Frank that I was canceling the contract and demanded a refund for nonstart of the project.
Cue the weeks-long intimidation campaign against me, my ex-wife, my kids, my employees, and even my neighbors... Angry phone calls, belligerent emails, straight out threatening and scar texts, questionably legal drivebys of my and my ex-wife's homes to intimidate me into dropping the matter and never getting a refund.
At this point, the matter is going to the courts. It took weeks to locate his current office, none of the ones on his estimate, card, or internet listing is correct, one is even his house. 2 addresses in Cherry hill, 1 in Berlin, another in Marlton, this guy seems to change his address whenever the temp starts to creep up on him.
Have a retraining order from Burlington County to keep him and his henchmen away from me and my family, and will be looking into civil avenues as well.
Bottom line: Do not hire Frank Deutsch, he is a creepy con artist that preys on people and then intimidates them. If you do hire Frank Deutsch ELectriuc, he is your problem then, you have been fairly warned.

The job started wonderfully, Frank was professional, on time, and a smooth talker. His men arrive don the date but not the time of the job to start.
All was going well until a young woman arrived and started an argument with the 'foreman', and after that, everything went off the rails.
I had to ask the girl and guy to leave my business since they were causing such a scene.
They left the little one there to complete the work, and I really think he didn't have a clue as to what to do. When he left for the day, I had lighting fixtures hanging, outlets not covered, and a mess in my breaker box.
I tried calling Frank that evening about it, and all I got was voivemail. I tried again all the next day and the day following, with no luck. Emails and faxes had no effect as well, he seemed to have given up not even halfway thru the job.
Now, I was stuck with business in disarray, half-powered, and employees in danger from electrocution.
It seems that only with the threat of a lawsuit did he send his main guy back to finish the job. And, oh boy, did he have an attitude with every turn of the screw.
Insolent, nasty, arrogant, and ignorant are the only way I can describe him.
Once he was done, I was one the phone getting another electrician to come out and check all the work to make sure I was not working in a potential tinderbox.
Other then a few shoddy shortcuts, tightening some nuts and screws, it was OK.

I am not at all surprised or shocked this happened with Frank Deutsch, it is a very open secret in the industry what type of businessman he is and how he conducts his affairs.
I work for a supply company in So. New Jersey, not the first supply house I have worked in, probably not the last either.
I tried warning my manager, I sincerely did to no avail, and in the end, it ended up costing many of us our positions.
I told him about Frank and what he did at 2 other places that I worked (1 full and 1 parttime) where he has run the same scam. She didn't listen, even when my coworker backed me up with stories about him from another place in Pensaulken.
He started like usual, smaller orders, him or his kid picking up the orders and asking for a few days more on terms, not unusual in our line of work.
Then, he lands a whale of a job, claims we will be the only supplier for the site. I mean, really talked up the staff and management like this was his golden calf and he was cutting them in on the profits.
I just sit there waiting for the hammer to drop, week after week, month after month. Until. . .
He comes in to tell us he got another bite of the apple and will be doing the HVAC. Well, my manager was happy, more product moving, more money in, right? (Remember, this is Frank Deutsch we are talking about, nothing good lasts when he is involved.)
Now, we had been supplying electrical supply for the new builds he is doing, and we also supply the HVAC. Serious amounts of product moving every day. No real problems, occasional lateness, but, that is standard for this industry.
Well. . . Another one of the blocks starts going up and Frank wants to preset all the material in our warehouse, no problem, we do it all the time. Then, after a few months, he wants to preset all the material on site. Again, no issues, we do this as well.
Jokes on us, after a few months, many truckloads and good payment, he increases his weekly buy by about 90%. Again, no flags; until there is a delay in "The site management is late, but I can't fall behind line starts to be heard around the office.
Long story short, he somehow talked our counter girl into 3 trucks loaded out to him, on-site, on credit.
Need I say more? Even after my coworker and I warned - multiple times that he was going to do this!!! - No Frank, no callbacks, no replies to emails or faxes, nothing. We were able to get a single truckload off-site, but now, the company is out a very substantial amount. We had to let 2 stockers & 2 drivers go due to his tactics, and this was before all this China Flu junk that ultimately cost me my position there.
They tried all the different addresses he provided and found his new one in Cherry Hill, [The one listed above at the top of the page.]; but he was never there. They had the employees as well as management driving by there all the time to see if they could talk to him. On numerous occasions, we saw his white pickup truck there, occasionally one or more of his branded trucks was there as well, and no amount of knocking, banging or pounding would get Frank or someone to the door. It didn't matter if it was 6 am, 12 lunch, or 4 pm, nothing, seemed to me like he was hiding out to avoid us and his theft.
From what I hear, they have yet to get in touch with him and are preparing to sue him for the losses.
I know, an online review doesn't carry much weight now a days, but reading the other posts here might show potential suppliers and others just what kind of a guy he is.
I am interviewing like mad to get a new position somewhere, and almost everyone that I relate this story to says the same thing, they refuse to work with him since he either burned them, some very bad, or they know what Frank is and what he does.
I didn't post this out of anger, I really don't want anyone else to lose their job due to his actions, or, rather, inactions.
Everyone should be very aware, acutely aware of Frank Deutsch Electrical, and what type of business he runs. He will scam you, threaten you, and trash your name to others in our industry once he is done picking your bones.

Insolent, nasty, arrogant, and ignorant are the only way I can describe him.
Once he was done, I was one the phone getting another electrician to come out and check all the work to make sure I was not working in a potential tinderbox.
Other then a few shoddy shortcuts, tightening some nuts and screws, it was OK.
Not really gonna give a recommendation.
Easier, cheaper, and less drama with anyone else.

Frank Deutsch is the Energizer Bunny of scamming people
I am not at all surprised or shocked this happened with Frank Deutsch, it is a very open secret in the industry what type of businessman he is and how he conducts his affairs.
I work for a supply company in So. New Jersey, not the first supply house I have worked in, probably not the last either.
I tried warning my manager, I sincerely did to no avail, and in the end, it ended up costing many of us our positions.
I told him about Frank and what he did at 2 other places that I worked (1 full and 1 parttime) where he has run the same scam. She didn't listen, even when my coworker backed me up with stories about him from another place in Pensaulken.
He started like usual, smaller orders, him or his kid picking up the orders and asking for a few days more on terms, not unusual in our line of work.
Then, he lands a whale of a job, claims we will be the only supplier for the site. I mean, really talked up the staff and management like this was his golden calf and he was cutting them in on the profits.
I just sit there waiting for the hammer to drop, week after week, month after month. Until. . .
He comes in to tell us he got another bite of the apple and will be doing the HVAC. Well, my manager was happy, more product moving, more money in, right? (Remember, this is Frank Deutsch we are talking about, nothing good lasts when he is involved.)
Now, we had been supplying electrical supply for the new builds he is doing, and we also supply the HVAC. Serious amounts of product moving every day. No real problems, occasional lateness, but, that is standard for this industry.
Well. . . Another one of the blocks starts going up and Frank wants to preset all the material in our warehouse, no problem, we do it all the time. Then, after a few months, he wants to preset all the material on site. Again, no issues, we do this as well.
Jokes on us, after a few months, many truckloads and good payment, he increases his weekly buy by about 90%. Again, no flags; until there is a delay in "The site management is late, but I can't fall behind line starts to be heard around the office.
Long story short, he somehow talked our counter girl into 3 trucks loaded out to him, on-site, on credit.
Need I say more? Even after my coworker and I warned - multiple times that he was going to do this!!! - No Frank, no callbacks, no replies to emails or faxes, nothing. We were able to get a single truckload off-site, but now, the company is out a very substantial amount. We had to let 2 stockers & 2 drivers go due to his tactics, and this was before all this China Flu junk that ultimately cost me my position there.
They tried all the different addresses he provided and found his new one in Cherry Hill, [The one listed above at the top of the page.]; but he was never there. They had the employees as well as management driving by there all the time to see if they could talk to him. On numerous occasions, we saw his white pickup truck there, occasionally one or more of his branded trucks was there as well, and no amount of knocking, banging or pounding would get Frank or someone to the door. It didn't matter if it was 6 am, 12 lunch, or 4 pm, nothing, seemed to me like he was hiding out to avoid us and his theft.
From what I hear, they have yet to get in touch with him and are preparing to sue him for the losses.
I know, an online review doesn't carry much weight now a days, but reading the other posts here might show potential suppliers and others just what kind of a guy he is.
I am interviewing like mad to get a new position somewhere, and almost everyone that I relate this story to says the same thing, they refuse to work with him since he either burned them, some very bad, or they know what Frank is and what he does.
I didn't post this out of anger, I really don't want anyone else to lose their job due to his actions, or, rather, inactions.
Everyone should be very aware, acutely aware of Frank Deutsch Electrical, and what type of business he runs. He will scam you, threaten you, and trash your name to others in our industry once he is done picking your bones.
