I bought a boat from fox yacht sales that they assured me was in sound condition and in working order, just "needs a little tlc" they said. I stipulated in my purchase agreement there were no major flaws or defects undisclosed. They agreed and signed. The boat showed up and I discovered all the stringers to be soaking wet and rotted out, every other price of wood on the boat totally soaked and rotted out, the generator was leaking oil, rusted and falling apart(literally), two of the four fuel tanks leaking, pitted and corroded beyond repair. One of the two outboards was leaking oil from the crankcase and needed to be totally taken apart and repaired (which apparently had been done before according to the mechanic which was undisclosed to me. When I contacted the ownEr and told him the issues he said they didn't know and never would have sold a boat in that condition had they known about it. So I said ok, well you did, and took that commission you never should have gotten then right? Silence. I asked for a very minimal amount of money to help me with repairs and he refused. He said they wod discuss it and call me back, never did. Real greedy scum bag right there. Don't give them your money or business!!
