He needed $3000 investment to create and marketing a "phen365" affiliate product/website. I only agreed to it because he said in writing that he would guarantee he would pay at least my initial investment back. Any lawyer would attest to that. So I sent a check to

4 months go by and the site does not do as (he) expected. I start looking into it and it doesn't look like he used the funds for what he was supposed to. No links were being built. So we start to discuss getting my $3K back. At first he was somewhat nice. But at the same time, he started asking if I wanted to invest in his OTHER website/business! ha! He claims his Forex site was making so much money, yet he couldn't fund this $3,000 side project on his own...
He agreed (I have it in his writing) he will pay me back the $3,000 in about 1 month. We started talking about him Western Unioning me the money. As soon as I asked if he would cover the $30 WU fee, his attitude changed from polite, to childish, and rude. Saying "He is being the good f**king guy that I am giving you back the $3K." TWO months go by without hearing a peep, so I emailed him again. No response. 10 days later I practically beg for a response.
He was "on vacation," must be nice, probably using my money. Can't pay me the money he owes but can go on a vacation. I am not being rude because I want my money back, so I don't comment on it. He said he just got back and would email me on the weekend. ANOTHER WHOLE MONTH goes by, so I email him again, asking him if I am ever going to get my money back (that he promises 3 months prior). He emails me back with a completely changed mentality, saying he doesn't owe me anything, and "I was going to give you the $3K back but."
I asked him nicely and literally begged him for my money back, I told him I couldn't pay some bills because I really needed that $3K now. His response? "I'm not responsible?" RUDE. That is the moment I could tell Brendan Murray was a heartless jerk who has no morals and had no intentions of paying my money back. If someone can have a response like that to you don't ever buy from their company, they are a sociopath and will steal from you.
So finally I am annoyed and ask him why one day he says he will send the money and the next he says he wont, the conversation goes on like this pointlessly for a few days until I finally decide I am done being nice since it is clear he wont WILLINGLY send me the money. So I told him I have him in writing telling me he will guarantee and send my money back and I will contact a lawyer IF I NEED. Well he wanted to pretend "that was the reason" why he isn't going to send the money (you know, people need any excuse/reason available to them to make it seem like your fault).
