Do not finance with this company. If you made the mistake to finance through it, make sure that you park your vehicle behind a locked gated fence at all times. Completely unprofessional thieves.
All I can say is that Ford has a real problem internally as well as computer systems that do not talk to each other. Frustration, downright illegal activity as it relates to the Fair Credit and Reporting Act. It starts with my mother-in-law getting a call and offer of a finders fee.
I just got off a call with a department in Irving Texas for Ford Credit including the internal collector and her supervisor, who informed me they charged off a car that I paid off with a cashiers check to the dealer and took ownership of in December of 2017. Ford in Michigan HQ if thats where Ford financing is headquartered, after a call stated their records say it was paid off in January 21, 2018. The Irving Texas Ford office supervisor Gary tells me my 2014 Escape (my daughters car) was charged off June 3, 2018.
After pulling myself off the ceiling and confronting the national office number I received from Gary in Irving, I realize that I will need to check crediit information as well as file a formal complaint under the FCRA as well as informing them that the woman collector after stating a cease and decist from calling relatives informed me they do not have to conform as they called and have the right to offer a finders fee to someone not at my address. Such BS as far as I can understand by FCRA
I was informed their (Ford's) various systems do not talk with each other. I was also informed the Irving Office was wrong in telling me of the charge off. So folks, do you find that policy a bit disconcerning as well as their lack of systems integration?
Run from Ford! I bought or leased 3 over the past 6 years and can say, I will never buy another product from them again.
My son is a wounded warrior on 100 percent disability. He found himself in a messy divorce the end of 2015. He was given custody of three small tykes but his ex got mad cause he wouldn't take her back again and caused lots of problems, stole my sons car that he needed to get sold, took off with the kids. We finally got kids and car back but not before my son and all of us incurred enormous debt for legal fees and other expenses. We kept ford aware of situation and since our son was living out of our state we took car to local dealer and they agreed to try and sell it. Ford knew this. They decided to pick car up and transport to auction instead of leaving at dealer. Now they want around $1400 or so incurred from sale of vehicle. They did not need to incur that expense. Car would have eventually sold here. Now they continually call for him calling on my phone. Won't leave message and won't talk to me about situation if I do answer. Just digging for information. My son has made it clear he can't pay the moneys incurred because he is still trying to get back on his feet. Really annoying that he even owed this. Expenses to pick up by ford were stupid and I hate their phone calls.
Ford Credit Paperless internet makes it impossible to prevent problems for the consumer. They do not send late payment or notice of partial payments entered in error via typo, which can cause a credit agency issue. My husband and I both had credit scores over 800. When making the final payment, after 59 months of on-time payments I input in error a payment exactly $100 less than was due.At the same time my husband passed away and I took over the bill paying after notifying the different vendors.
Ford immediately placed our account in the "death committee" and I was unable to secure any information even after having provided them with proof of my appointment by the Court as his Personal Representative, along with my passport and his death certificate. I spent numerous hours on the telephone and cut off in an attempt to secure a copy of my input record to confirm if it was my fault or on Ford's side.I was to receive over one month ago a copy of those transactions, I have received nothing! They have impacted my credit score by 50 points with no ability to speak with anyone or resolve the issue.
I have tried in vain for almost 2 years to get a lien release from Ford Credit. They have not responded with a lien release and are stopping me from selling my truck or registering it properly in my new residence in Florida (I am from and the truck is still registered in Louisiana).
It is now costing me $250 a month to garage a truck I cannot sell due to Ford's lack of sending this required paperwork.
I purchased a car from Ford. I needed a car quickly, my old one, my fourth Ford Vehicle, was falling apart.
I wanted something that you could tow a toy trailer with. I find out after that the 2015 Ford Transit Connect Wagon can not do this, and It did not have the electrical connections either. In addition to that I paid almost $8,000.00 too much for it. In addition to that, the car has Known Braking Problems and it is all over the internet in Forums. The Transmission slips, and the Cruise Control over revs the motor when trying to keep a chosen speed. In addition to that the financing I was hammered with is awful.
Short, Be Careful what you buy, Ford isn't what it used to be.
