Food Addicts Reviews

You only get 14 days in which to ask for a refund from Joan Ifland's ARC Management Training (AMT). If you go past the 14 days and decide the training is not for you, the company is likely to refuse to give a refund, as it has with me and several previous customers. That’s potentially thousands of dollars you will have lost, with very little to show for it.

I really loved the ARC and the AMT program at first. It’s filled with so many lovely, kind, caring individuals, trying their best to help each other with a really difficult health problem (processed food addiction).

Unfortunately, after a few months I realised the AMT training was not for me. From watching the relatively slow growth of the ARC membership, I began to doubt that I would ever be earning a worthwhile income from the AMT. Prior to purchasing the AMT program, Joan Ifland had assured me that I could make back the $2,997 fee within my first year of training. However the evidence I saw with my own eyes made these earnings claims seem increasingly unlikely to come true. This was really disheartening.

I asked for a refund but Joan Ifland refused. Where Joan had previously seemed caring and considerate, I found that her attitude markedly changed once I asked her for a refund. I felt really let down.

When I told Joan of my intention to publish fair and honest reviews of the company, she accused me of planning to slander the company, drive people away from life-saving help, and break the law (see screenshot of the email). I characterised her accusations as a "dramatic leap". I felt this was Joan's attempt to emotionally manipulate and intimidate me into dropping my legitimate request for a refund.
