DO NOT.....Let me repeat.....DO NOT use this agency!!!! Their only concern is to deceive you and charge you more money than what was agreed. I called Fly Infinite 11 months prior to my trip. My "concierge" was Jeff Vaynshteyn. Our initial conversation said that he couldn't get me seats so far ahead of time. He told me that he could get me an earlier flight and then he would rebook for the dates I needed when they became available at NO extra charge to me.
I called him once a month to see what progress there was on my booking. Jeff kept telling me that nothing had opened up yet but he was keeping an eye on things. Finally, after six months I began to get quite nervous. When I told Jeff that it seemed to be taking a long time, he assured me that once the Christmas Holidays were over that seats would start to "open up." I called again near the end of January and Jeff tells me that he still doesn't have anything.
So, I'm now very nervous. He has taken over $5000 dollars of my money and after waiting for NINE months he still can't get me a flight. However, he promises me that I will ABSOLUTELY have a flight in time for my vacation. Weeks start to go by and I am becoming more and more frantic. Also, Jeff has become unavailable. He's talking with another client or he is not in the office or whatever the excuse is at the moment. Of course, this just makes me more frantic.
Finally, after more than 10 months of waiting and with less than 3 weeks to my vacation, he tells me that he has secured some flights. They aren't what he had told me about earlier, but they aren't bad flights and they fit within the dates I had asked him for.
Now, remember, he told me in our original conversation that there would be NO EXTRA CHARGES when he got my flights. About 5 days after he tells me about these flights, the airline tells me that my flights were cancelled. It is also at this time that I discover that I had been booked with Airline Points. AIRLINE POINTS???? I paid cash......So, now I am really beside myself. I get a hold of Jeff....he finally took my call and he tells me that he knows the cause and he can fix it. This was on a Friday. By the following Tuesday he still hasn't fixed the problem even though he has told me that he knows exactly what was wrong.
Finally, with less than 2 weeks left before I am supposed to leave, I get a call from "Frank." He says he is the Operations Manager and he has "salvaged" my reservation. He reads it to me and it isn't in any way the reservation I had previously and it doesn't fit within my date span either. In addition to this, he tells me that he needs more than $1100 dollars more. MORE??? I told him that I had been assured there would be NO additional charges. He told me that there were "additional taxes" and that's what the cost was. He then mentioned to me that I would be leaving in just a few days and what would I like to do. It was at this point I knew I was scammed. It was pay the additional money or lose it all. I was down to the last minute and they knew it. They had stalled and stalled until there was no further choice but to take what they offered. This was my first and LAST time to deal with these people. I just hope that by telling my story here I can prevent others from suffering the same fate.
These guys are all con artists.. big-time high school drop outs... aka LOSERS. Worst is probably Frank De-Levi (greasy guy, looks like a dirty porn film maker), and Jeff and Jim. I reported them to security at United Airlines as the agent on the phone was pissed that I had been so scammed (sold me tiks at premium cost that I could not even use as they were under another person/strangers name). Also had to file with TSA (was instructed to)... they are nothing but frauds. I thought for sure they be taken in by now. They all belong in jail. They use points they buy for dirt cheap from strangers from Canada Air(?) and then charge you out the wazoo. IT"S ILLEGAL TO DO THAT. Highly illegal! Hope they all go to jail (Don't drop the soap, Frank). DO NOT USE THIS FIRM-- YOU may even go to prison because you have no way to prove you were unaware of their fraudulent activities!!! I lost thousands of dollars! Unbelievable!
I contacted Fly Infinite and talked with Ian Wagner. He set up my travel arrangements on February 5 for my wife and I to travel to see our son who is serving with the U.S. Military in Italy. The arrangement was to travel to Detroit via Delta on Business Class, then to Amsterdam, then to Munich, then to Verona which was the nearest airport to our destination. This was a long way around but the cheapest since I have severe arthritis and lower back pain and needed business class comfort. 8 days before the flight, I was unable to sign in to select our seats so I contacted Ian again. He reviewed the situation and told me my flight from Munich to Rome and then to Verona had been cancelled. He said I should have received an email. I had not received one. Due to the late date, he got me a new flight with a huge price increase and a much longer layover in Munich. We wound up having to wait around the Munich airport 8 hours instead of the previously planned 4 hours. We were already very tired due to the long trip and our planned 3:55 arrival became 10:15, increasing the travel time for 2 aging and arthritic passengers from 19 hours to over 25 hours. Upon my return, I emailed him and told him that when I signed into the websites, I noticed that the email address he provided was for a woman at his company - not for me. I asked him to refund the extra we paid since it was his company's fault. He never responded. Bottom line is that they do not provide much service and do not honor or correct their mistakes.
Could I point out to the world, do NOT use Fly Infinite. My husband and I bought two Business and First Class air tickets from Fly Infinite earlier this year to fly Thai Airways Sydney/Bangkok/Bangkok/London in August 2015. On arrival at Sydney Mascot airport we were advised by the ground crew of Thai Airways that our tickets were suspended as they were fraudulent! As we are both over 70 years of age we were absolutely shattered that we could not get out of Australia to commence our fully paid for 4 weeks holiday, which included, amongst other tours, a European river cruise. We sat up all night trying to contact Fly Infinite as the time difference between Australia and the U.S.A. meant we could not initially, and for some time, speak with their staff. Finally, after much agitation, they got us out the next day, asuring us our next leg Bangkok to London First Class was all in order.
WRONG. Same thing - fraululent tickets we were again told by the Thai Airways Bangkok ground staff. More horrendous stress for us. Finally we did get out of Bangkok in Busines Clas NOT the First Clas seats we had paid for. Despite many, many emails to Fly Infinite on our return - as well as many unexpected and expensive cell telephone calls to Fly Infinite from Sydney and Bangkok - we are still waiting on this company to reimburse us in total for (a) the unexpected cost of a night's accommodation at a Sydney airport hotel on the night we were supposed to be flying to Bangkok, (b) the unexpected cost of many lengthy cell phone calls and (c) the difference between the First Class and Business Class fare out of Bangkok. Of course, what price can you put on stress as a result of what Fly Infinite did to us? I say incalculable. I repeat, DO NOT USE FLY INFINITE. You do so at your peril.
