I am an orthoaedic surgeon in the San Gabriel area. My small business employed FluidNRG Creative Design Group to develop a website for my practice January 23, 2018. We had agreed upon a number of improvements (see below invoice):
FROM:FluidNRG Inc. – Kaileen Wang 1621 Alton Parkway, Suite 250, Irvine CA 92606 o: 888.674.8789 c: 323.788.1820 http://www.fluidnrg.com
ITEM# DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE time $ 1 WEBSITE
1.1 Lite Site (WORDPRESS SITE) - Website Setup, 3 templates for review, Basic WordPress Template site - Apply up to 5 pages of content - ** no user guide** Suggestive Pages: 1. Home 2. About 3. Patient Education 4. Congress Medical Center 5. Contact Us (additional pages = $250 each additional page) ~ $2,400
1.2 Additional Pages ($250 each) - New Patients / Financing Additional Pages with plugin installation ($500 each) - Document Search plugin - Media (youtube plugin, insights blog templates) - Friends of the Practice (instagram plugin) ~ $1,750
1.3 Localization plugin - Install plugin ($500) - Create all Chinese translation pages ($250) $750 TOTAL AMOUNT $4,900
I had originally created my own website on a free website builder years ago, including all of its content in English and Mandarin Chinese. I provided all the content to FluidNRG to update the interface and improve the functionality for patients. And I had paid the invoice in FULL in January. (invoice receipts can be provided). However, after 10 months of sparse communication and a minimally worked-on website, I asked for a refund of the items not delivered (items 1.2, and 1.3 above).
I emailed and called the business owner multiple times about the undelivered products only to be told that these technologies were in place but not utilized?(Investigated and found to be untrue. The items were not even worked on.) And that the reason the website content was not done was the fault of myself the CLIENT. I have screenshots and video of the website showing nonfunctional icons and technologies, as well as a copy of all our transcript communications. I have since hired a new company to redo my website and confirmed these items were not done.
I have emailed the owner asking for a partial refund for the items not delivered, who replied with a rude response and have since been ignored.
I have emailed the staff working on this project for the past 12 months and received no reponse.
I reported this to the Better Business Bureau to reach out to Fluid NRG without any response from the business. As a client who naively paid the invoice in full 12 months ago, I urge all consumers to be aware of Fluid NRG. It is a company that does not take responsibilty or pride in their work, and can quite aptly be named a Ripoff.
