Flower Delivery Express Reviews

  • Jul 21, 2016

This company is a complete scam. What you order and what you actually receive are two different things. My husband ordered me a dozen long stem roses for my birthday (cost=$65). What I actually received was 5 small short roses in a small vase. The only way we discovered this inconsistency was b/c I sent him a picture thanking him for the flowers. I started searching the internet for reviews on www.flowerdeliveryxpress.com and what I discovered was endless complaints from people who had the same experience as myself. They ordered something and received something completely different. What is CLEARLY happening is they are taking our hard earned money, sending the flower request to a local florist but paying the local florist half of the amount and keep the different. How is this legal? How is this company still in business?

I called to complain and after an hour on the phone with an incompetent and rude customer service agent, they promised to refund my $$. First, they wanted to give me 2 dozen roses and a $25 credit to make up for their “mistake”. Since I don’t trust them AT ALL now, I just asked for a refund. I have YET to see the refund to my credit card.

Bottomline, this company is a scam and should be out of business. Shame on you Wesley Berry Flowers/www.flowerdeliveryxpress.com (or whatever name you go by now).\

I will be filing complaints against this company as well as tell every single person I know about the scam they are running.

They charged my card 113 dollars and it was a fake account I want my money back. I work hard for that. I tried to get my girlfriend some flowers For our 6 month anniversary and I got the money taken.

On Monday May 9, 2016 I ordered flowers on line to be delivered to a loved on the same day. At the near close of the day I checked the status of the delivery, which satated that the delivery was delayed, but had no reason. When I contacted the service by email, I was returned a call by the alleged Co-CEO. She left a message stating that she was sorry for the delivery delay and that she will give me 50.00 credit towards my next order. I was pretty peed off but I considered it without a problem. On May 10, 2016 my delivery still had not arrived to my loved one. I then called the company to speak with someone, but I was placed on hold for 7 minutes, and then called back and was held on the phone for another 1/2 hour. I then reached out via email, and let them know that I was not satisfied, and that the order did not arrive. The representative told me that there was a delay due to missing information. All day, no phone call, no email until late in the afternoon where I was then told about an issue. I called the company again and spoke with someone, who then offered me apologies and offered me a 100.00 credit towards my next order. I explained to her that I had already fulfilled my order through another vendor. She put me on hold to speak with someone more qulaified, and then I was cut off for holding on too long. I called back 6 times, and to no avail was I able to speak with anyone. I just wanted a refund, but I guess I am truly out of the money 83.00 +, due to me for this mess. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. IF ANYONE NEEDS TO ORDER FLOWERS FOR A LOVED ONE, Use the Local one in your AREA. THERE ARE TONS OF THEM MORE RELIABLE THAN FLOWER DELIVERY EXPRESS.

I ordered a funeral arrangement with FDE for a family funeral with guaranteed delivery for the funeral date. To my horror and embarrassment, it did not get delivered at all, so the company refunded the $59 charge, but the refund had to be used on their website.

What a ripoff! The refund could only be used on full-price items, and then they stated under refund rules that they could add all these fees, unlike the original purchase:

Shipping/Service Charges: Our shipping/service charges for florist hand delivered flowers as well as all UPS/FedEx delivered items can range from $9.99 to $19.95.

Sales Fee: Covers variable costs associated with fresh product availability year round. The Sales Fee can range from 6-12% of the total order cost, prior to discount.

Standard Service: Based on your delivery requirements, a variable fee (ranging from free to 19.99) will be added to help ensure your arrangement is delivered the date you choose.

So when I tried to use the $59 "refund", guess what- ALL these charges were the maximum amount, and these extra fees came to $64, unlike the fees when I ordered the original purchase. I would never pay $64 for flower delivery, no one would! It totally negates the original refund, and the only fee added to the original purchase was for delivery/service. No sales fee and standard service was free!

I wanted flowers delivered to my mother a month from now- no rush for the florist- who lives in an elderly community, just minutes from the florist, so the flowers can be dropped off a few steps from the vehicle, at the front desk! $64 fees for this!?

THIS REFUND POLICY IS AN OUTRAGE!! They add fees that make it cost more than the refund to use!

FDE IS A RIP-OFF! Don't trust them

Flower Delivery Express did not deliver. They had a website that had a pop up over their bill that said free delivery and when I clicked on it in good faith I had to pay $24.00 in delivery fees plus a $21.75 sales fee. They have a consumer line that is foreign and only sends you to a consumer advocate that does not exist. They don't answer and they don't call back.

This company is a sham. I am out $105.00 dollars for a $49.00 boquet that I never received. The BBB has thousands of complaints but hasn't done a thing. That consumer advocacy group is not worth what the taxpayers expect. We need to get rid of con companies like this. They are also known as Wesley Berry and a few other aka's. They have fraudulent advertising, no customer service, and don't deliver. How crooked do they have to get before they are ousted.

Thank you for listening.

The item cost was $30 wityh discount - the service fees totaled $38.76! Outrageous! Fees were added to total after I submitted my purchase to be charged. Had I known what the charges were before I hit "purchase" I would have never gone thru with the transaction.

This company is a scam, straddling the line of the law.

My order was placed fraudulently by the website when a pop-up ad regarding reduced shipping prices submitted the order when i hit close. I did not want this order to be placed as i felt the prices were too high to be worth the value. I immediately called the customer service number and the representative stated my order was placed on hold, but they refused to take my information or order confirmation number. Without knowing who i am or what my order is, how can they state it was placed on hold? Then they said i had to call back after 11:00am the next day to receive confirmation of the cancellation. When i explained this was a next day delivery, they hung up the phone. Seriously, they hung up on me!!!

The next morning's multiple calls to customer service fared no better. The representative kept me on the line, refusing to talk to me, while i heard him and the other representatives laughing and singing. Then he placed me on hold, again without acknowledging me at all. The reason, he had started another call which was conducted in his native language. The other attempts also resulted in hang ups and automated messages saying we will call you back.

What a lousy, scam of a company this is. Even after placing an online dispute via their website, requesting help with the cancellation, i received an error message stating that multiple requests from the same ip address will impede the ability to assist me. I only placed one request through the website, but again this is an example of a scam and how they set up safeguards to straddle that line.

This is your definition of customer service? I had to call visa to dispute the charge, opened an incident with the better business bureau and am placing this review on every social media site i can find. If you still choose to use this company, please remember you have been warned.

Ordered flowers for a Christmas Gift. Company offered discount on arrangements. The item cost was $29.99 - the service fees totaled $38.76! Outrageous! Fees were added to total after I submitted my purchase to be charged. Had I known what the charges were before I hit "purchase" I would have never gone thru with the transaction.

Called to cancel 4 times, emailed customer service twice...always put on hold for a long time or transferred to another number that never picked up. An agent did call me, left a message on my voice machine. I called back and complained to individual who answered, who said she would forward me to her supervisor....call was disconnected. I have received no other contact from the company.

I have filed a dispute with my credit card but have to wait. AMEX is great for assisting in this type fraud, so I am glad I used that credit card.

Stay away from this company!! Fraud... Scam...

I paid $138.42 for an upgraded delux flower arrangement called dish garden. The delivery was to include 2 mylar balloons.

What was delivered was a grocery store version of a hanging plant with a crumpled yellow smiley face mylar balloon.

I called to complaint and was assured that they would deliver the same day what I had paid for. What was re- sent was a pathetic version of a small grocery store version of a hanging basket.

I paid $95.00 to have flowers delivered to my granddaughter I was promised they would be delivered that day. They were delivered the next day., And they were not the flowers that I paid $95 for. It was a few roses that was wilted I was shocked I wanted my money back and they said they do not give me my money back they took $20 off. I was totally embarrassed I would never recommend this company to anyone.
