Signed up for RMA course, at beginning of course they do a blood test called tighter to see if you are protected from hepitis, I was not, I also was not informed of this, was not givya choice to choose another course, as classes continued I had to receive the 3 step injections for protection against hepitis, all the while not knowing I may never work as an RMA due to the fact I was not protected from hepitis, at the end of the course they run another blood test, still not protected, my body refused the injections, so I have not be interviewed nor have I worked as an RMA since graduation, but I have to pay back student loans over 12000.00 for educational training, graduated with honors and no medical office will hire me, till this day I send resumes out almost daily, not one phone of interest for employment..

On my first interview at the school with the financial aid advisor was full of promises and smiles. The classes were so easy, I thought "boy, anyone can do this". I finished the medical assistant certificate classes and never looked back. I didn't even get information on graduation. I found about graduation the of because a classmate called me to find out if I was on my way. What the school doesn't tell the students is "after you graduate, the starting salary for medical assistants is equal to the pay at McDonalds, there is no career placement assistance, little to no help with resume preparation,

the education received is so bad that what the student needs to start off at a new job makes it difficult to qualify for the new job, there's no help after graduation, NO ONE TOLD ME THE SCHOOL WAS NOT ACCREDITED, couldn't transfer credits to Valencia to get nursing degree, could not get certified through AMAA, this school is a total sham. The staff knows it and they put on a smile and defraud the students along side the school. I am several thousands of dollars in debt from student loans because they failed to let me know that it wasn't financial aid what I was signing for instead student loans that are so expensive not even what I started earning was enough to pay for my monthly payments. Fast forward to ten years later, still paying these loans.

Every since Dr. James Burkett has come aboard I have noticed some really strange happenings with the Apple iPads that students have received at the school. I am by no means a technical expert but I have to say that I wasn’t born yesterday and these cannot be real Apple devices. The only reason I started FTC was because my brother attended the school and had a great experience and never had any issues but that was of course with the last President.

Now that he is gone I have noticed it has become all about the money and the iPad being locked when I first received it was just the start of me thinking something weird is going on! I paid like any other student and found out that my iPad was locked and I was unable to do anything with my device. Prior to taking it to the school I went to the Apple Store and the person there informed me that they get many FTC students complaining about these faulty devices and the complaints have ranged from 1) Locked Devices 2) Untraceable Devices through the Apple Store 3) Previously Used 4) Just Broken!

My ipad was determined to by the Apple Store to not even of been purchased from them and it was an older iPad. Therefore because it was older it was previously used and resold to me which explains it already being locked. Now it makes sense why you cannot get AppleCare on these devices and FTC is willing to exchange your iPad for another used device from somewhere in Abu Dhab.

Now this brings me to my complaint! If I pay the price to receive an Apple iPad why in hell would I want an older device or one that may have been stolen from someone else given to me! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH I will be withdrawing from this school immediately because where there is smoke there is fire!

I would never advise anybody to waste their money on this piece of s*a* school! They change their learning techniques every 2 months, there is a revolving door of teachers coming in and out of this school, and they lie to you about the programs they offer. Then once you get enrolled you realize that you're learning nothing that you thought you would. They only try to get as many students as they could top keep their numbers up and to get money. They also scam students out of their opportunities to learn, and give you cheap a*s products to use even though you're giving them $20000! Once you're done, you're probably gonna have to wait months to take your test because they barely have money to cover it (which they should seeing that it is included in the tuition) This school is just really unprepared an unprofessional.

I have to say that I was very surprised the way this school handled their students and employee's. You have people in upper management that only care about themselves, they say that the student is their priority, but it's not. You have the CEO of this company that only is interested in the T&A. If you don't understand that terminology is T*** & A**. If you notice all he wants his upper management to hire are T&A. You go around these campuses, and all you see are women with high heels, tight pants and shirts. Where have you seen in a professional office, women using leather pants, tight as hell, only at FTC you will find it.

Moving forward I meet a guy they called Tony, if you don't know this guy make sure you don't introduce your wife to him. All he dose is go around the campuses flirt with each & every one of those girls in the admission department. Dave, Tony, and even Mike love to schedule visits with girls that would go to their offices, and spend time in close doors while there wife’s are outside like idiot's. These guys flirt around with student’s that go over their offices and spend time in closed doors, and it’s not taking classes that they are. These guys like to hire incompetent individuals that can't manage themselves out of a paper bag. They hired a new director at the Orlando campus that all she does is nothing, and have no leadership skills. That company has fired so many really good people to replace them with individuals with no common sense, and if you look all they have is big a****, big t*** and no brains. Students that enroll in this school are not provided the best education for the price of those programs. You have students that have a tough time finding jobs, because of the bad reputation it has. They have in place these admission representatives that utilize the hard sell, and pressure these students to enroll with the promise that they will find employment WHICH NEVER HAPPENS. If you are looking for an education and want to be successful don't spend your time or money in FTC, they are just looking for you money, and they really don't care about your success. I have to say that the really good people that work for these individuals are faced with the scrutiny, and the bad reputation this school has. DON’T SPEND YOUR MONEY OR TIME; THEY DON’T CARE ABOUT THE STUDENT!!!! All they want is your money.

I went to ftc for a baking and pastry certification. I have some federal loans and when I sign up I did not had a debt with the institution. I win 3 scholarships for a total of 3,000$. After a couple of month that I started my course they change to digital books and they where "giving" iPads to everyone. I never got one. But people who got it had a debt of 700$ more. I don't understand why because they took all books from this students and those books where supposed to be part of our course. Well I finished and graduated with honors. I never got my diploma. So I went to the college to ask for it and they said I have a debt of 1,000$. But did not explain or show me from where. After all the time, and scholarship and even let me walk the graduation day now they say that I own money!!!! No I don't think so!

Tuition at florida technical college Ftc) includes books for thier accelerated programs Like the billing and coding program i'm enrolled in). However, rarely does the school provide books on time. The books are supposed to be provided the first day of class, but it's not uncommon to recieve them late. My current class we are almost 2 week into and we're supposed to have our midterm exam in 2 day. But, we can't study or even do homework because we still have not received our books!

Me and several other students have contacted the dean, eric dennis, repeatedly for help getting books. Today's response from him took the cake. He advised me that there are "a few" books available, but that they would be given to the online students, not classroom students like me. When i pressed him about how we're supposed to do homework or study or learn he stated "well i guess your teacher will have to figure something out". Kind of like sharing books in class and doing group tests that was the last straw for me.

I've since filed a complaint with the dept. Of education for fraud, since i had to take out federal loans to finance my education with them, the florida board of education, aicis Ftc's accrediting agency), and the central florida better business bureau.

I can't believe these people. Unorganized and don't give a single s*** about your very expensive education. They provide food every single class, but can't seem to procure books? Give me a break. Do yourself a favor and enroll elsewhere. Save yourself the headache and debt.
