This plan was recently added to my health insurance to pay for prescription medicines.
My job is already in the process of changing from this insurance company due to how many of us have complained. My child was recently prescribed a medicine by her pediatrician for her asthma. The pharmacy told us the medicine needed pre-authorization, something her doctor said sometimes happens but shouldnt take longer than 2-3 days.
It's been over 3 weeks and they still refuse to pay for the medicine. It's one excuse after another. My doctor is now having to charge us because of how much time he has spent on the phone, emailing, and faxing Flexscripts. It's becoming obvious they hope we just throw our hands up and give up.. But I refuse, considering how much my wife and I pay for this plan.
