Fraud/No Refunds
I read every review and concur , the exact situation happened to me. Was promised a credit of over 200 dollars , then was ask if I wanted to wait til next year or a refund. I chose refund 3 months ago , never heard from them again. The request came e-mail , no further contact , tried numerous times .
Ordered a Christmas tree in October of 2017, and they cancelled in late November/early December. They said they would refund my money, but never did.
Waiting for Refund
I purchased a tree from Five Star Christmas Trees a few years ago. This year I ordered one, at a discounted price, in July, 2018. My account was charged July 30. In November I received an email stating the supplier in Florida could not fulfill the order this year. I was given the option of a refund or credit towards next year. I requested a refund and have not received a confirmation for my request.
Waiting for reund
I have ordered from Five Star for the last 4 years and last year after ordering and right before delivering I received an email that they were not going to be able to deliver trees because the local farmer was unable to full fill the orders. They offered credit for following year but I requested a full refund and never got it. Never heard back them either.
Ordered a tree in November 2017. Tree did not come. I later received a letter from the company, and this is what they said: "We just received news that there is a supply issue in the LONG BEACH area and we will not be able to deliver your order this year. We apologize for the inconvenience. We will not be working with that local farm in the future.” Then they offered a "credit” for next year’s order. I emailed them back and requested for an immediate reimbursement instead. I sent them 2 follow up emails and also left them phone messages but they did not respond. This company rips off people!
Waiting for refund/tree
I began ordering from 5 Star Christmas Tree Co in 2013, and had no issues with them. I placed my normal order for a tree, from 5 Star Christmas Tree Co, in fall of 2017. I too was told in late November there was a shortage in the one of the northwestern states, and I could have a refund or use the credit toward a tree the following year and they would throw in a wreath. Well, needless to say, it is 2 years later, and haven't received a tree or my refund.
