They told me i had to cancel in person over the phone. months later bacause i moved far away i get there and they now say i have to pay 2 more months. when i spoke to the manager about what happened they say it was my responsabiltiy to cancell though email. They are theives and i ended up paying for months more then i should.
The corporate level has 0 clue what they are doing. The customer service line and decisions are made by a lady, that's never once stepped foot inside the gym. The owner let go of his 5th manager in 2 years to a hire a guy because he was friends with him in high school. This buddy has been arrested for solicitation of woman in even afterwards continue to run strip clubs for 7-8 more years. The owner calls this ^^^ integrity lol. I have a baby due in 3 weeks, he lied to me and said he was hiring somebody to help me n January when my baby arrives. I was, in reality, hiring my replacement and would get let go without notice and NO REASONING. They make 0 effort in marketing and are very cheap about the gym. Most times it takes 3-4 weeks to fix equipment even though you logged it properly and gave notice. Even though there are 26 cameras in the place, managers do not have access and corporate only uses this to spy on their employees. So bring your friends at night time! Nobody will find out, lol The customer service lady, kara, has told me on multiple occasions to "force your employees to quit, rather than firing them. It saves us money" She also considers herself a trainer, but not once has actually trained anybody on our system. The official training is watching sample videos all day. The owner has even admitted to being not interested in his club anymore, MANY TIMES. He, as well as kara, have no clue about the market and what the consumer wants. The club has consistently gotten slower over the past 2-3 years and the owner actually has the nerve to wonder what the problem is and why is business is down. The member see it, the employees do not trust corporate, and I have been the first to speak up. The have heavy free weights and a lot of nice members, but the corporate level gives 0 f**ks about their employees or their customers.
