First Cornerstone/Lance Edwards

This company is a complete scam. They do not follow through with their tuition reimbursement/money back guarantee. I would not let anyone I know invest in this company. The pushy sales tactics are unethical and the way the conduct business is overall the worst I have ever seen. I have invested in other real estate programs that are actually beneficial and worth the money - this was by far the biggest scam.

Lance Edwards Scam

Lance Edwards offered me a job one of his assistants called and was very sweet. But from my research their trying to sucker in people to buy their program and become real estate investors which I really have no interest in at all. From My experience if it's too good to be true it usually is and from the multiple websites stating negative facts there is no way I would show up there. Don't like wasting my time at all and it truly seems like that's what could have happened. Before you get involved in something be it a job career or learning from someone do your research.

On july 8, 2015 i attended lance edwards’ small apartments school in dallas, tx. I was hesitant to sign up because i am disabled and in ill health. In addition, i was caring for an invalid husband and caring for my ex-husband as he was dying. The young trainer, amir, assured me that i had 30 days to cancel need be. I was billed a payment that day of $599. On 8/7/2015 i called the number provided me and cancelled my training, explaining my reasons once again. On 8/8/2015 i was billed another $599. On 8/10/2015 i received a phone call acknowledging my cancellation and telling me i have until 8/21/2015 to return the materials sent to me. I asked for an address to mail the package and was told to open the box and the return address information would be inside. It was not. I called and left a message requesting an address but it was not given. I got the address of first cornerstone group llc, 1345 campbell rd., suite 200, houston, tx 77055 on the internet as this is the address listed on all their webpages i located. The company does not answer the phone, but asks you to leave a message and they will return your calls. However, this does not happen in all instances.

In the meantime i have received 3 other calls from fcgllc asking me to attend boot camps and in each instance, i informed them that i had cancelled my training and was not in good health. I asked that they stop calling me regarding boot camps.

On 8/14/2015 i mailed the package via usps priority 2-day delivery. I never heard back from anyone further. On september 9th 2015 i received a call from fcgllc telling me my credit card was not working and they were trying to bill me for a third payment. I explained the situation to the caller and he said “oh.” and hung up. When i called the phone number on the website again, i received a recorded phone message that they will only deal with complaints now via their email: [email protected]

On 9/10/15 i called amir Initial trainer) at the phone number he had provided me with. I reminded him who i was and told him i had requested a refund at the beginning of august and had still not received it. I told him my health was poor and i could not train at this point in time. He told me he would take care of it and call me back to let me know it was done. Never heard from him again, surprise, surprise.

Then on 9/24/15 i sent an email regarding their lack of sending my refund. They responded:

Hello,

The policy states the package must be returned within 30 days of receipt. You received the package on 7/21/2015 and sent it back to our office after our conversation on 8/10/2015. We received the package on 8/26/2015. It was a whole week late which is a violation of our refund policy. The materials are in-transit back to you.

Best regards,

Client care

On the tracking by the usps website, it states i mailed the package 2 day priority and that the address it was sent to, the address on their websites, was an undeliverable address. The usps took 4 days to forward it to a forwarding address they have for fcgllc and the usps took 5 days to deliver it just a short distance away in the same town. So fcgllc is denying my refund based on the usps delivery issues. When in fact, if they had provided me with the correct address in the first place this would not have happened and my package would have been delivered in time.

Therefore, i wanted it known that this company still has the incorrect address on all their websites to mislead individuals on purpose. Real address, which changed in june 22, 2015 according to their notice of such on their publication: deals & dollars club is 2010 north loop west, houston, tx 77018. An alternate address is: po box 940985, houston, tx 77094.

In addition, just for the record, this company is not a member of the better business bureau. Thus, they don’t have a rating.

If this company was interested in the best interest of their customers, they would not hide their address, own up to their errors, and not play around with their customers lives or funds.

My health continues to get worse and having to be subjected to this has increased my blood pressure tremendously. My doctors are now concerned i will have a stroke or heart attack. When i should be resting, instead i’m having to file complaints with various entities and subject my health to it’s negative impact.

I truly believe what goes around, comes around and god has always punished those who steal from others. God have mercy on fcgllc for god’s revenge is worse than mine could ever be.

They state a 100% refund, guaranteed and then prevent their customers from being able to meet their obligations by misinformation.

Buyers please be cautious in dealing with companies of this character, as it won’t lead you to a good place.

Worthless programs. Waste of time and money. They make it impossible to refund.

Unfortunately I can only confirm all the reviews and complaints that are posted before me. They sell you worthless information out of thin air. At every meeting they up the ante on how much money they need in order for you to participate in their programs. When you cancel and request their 30 day refund they give you the run around.

If you're looking for a job in real estate and you come across LE/FCGLLC's ad on Craigslist looking for a Real Estate Deal Negotiator, my advice to you is to keep looking. The amount of successfull closed deals that LE/FCGLLC promises are not realistic and the Buyer-leads are weak and unqualified.

LE/FCGLLC claimed that their Buyer-leads are "hot" and the Buyer-leads are literally ready "...to make a deal..." to purchase one of the listings that LE/FCGLLC has. Nothing could be further from the truth! After speaking with numerous Buyer-leads, an unusual amount of them responded with "...I don't know how my name was placed on your [LE/FCGLLC] list, I was only looking at some of the listings on the web-site(s)."

LE/FCGLLC assured me that the Buyer-leads were qualified and had shown a proof of funds. This was also a lie, as only one (1) potential buyer had successfully provided a proof of funds. Most of the Buyer-leads were those that had in someway shown an interest in a particular listing but had not yet even been pre-screened. I was literally having to cold-call these "hot" Buyer-leads.

Most of the Buyer-leads were honest and responded that they are not ready to purchase any properties at the moment. So much for "...ready to make a deal."

The only thing that LE/FCGLLC is concerned about is selling its classes and webinars.

Joke

First Cornerstone is a complete joke. If Lance Edwards was making millions in real estate, why can't you find info. He is unlicensed and isn't even an agent or broker.
