I was supposed to be paid and they took my receipts for traveling that they did not even ask me to keep and said my receipts are $1500 hell I gave them all the receipts but now they have disappeared. I justified every penny and the man still won’t pay. I’m not kidding he gave me a used iPhone 6 he said it was $750 and I can get one anywhere for a $100 and I have s 12 yr old computer that won’t even update windows so it about useless. He said it’s worth $1000. No computer is worth these days.
When installing DirecTV satellite a subcontractor is required per contract to have 5% hold on payday until $2000 has been accrued. I have had my retention money stolen before. However, I did not see this happening again. That is until January of 2018 when I informed my lead tech and the operations manager that I needed guidance for the proper way to start the paperwork to have a release of retention by mail to me to sign and send back. I received an email back from the then operations manager to review my contract.
I fulfilled my obligations with proper invoices and then sent them to Operations and Mark Maudley the husband of the principal owner Jennifer Maudsley. I received a call from the lead tech if I had heard from Mark because he was pissed at him and Operations Mgr. at operations for giving me legal advice. At the time they were in a dispute with another tech of a similar nature. Mark was upset that Michelle was helping me out yet not helping the other tech with the separate dispute which could look bad on Mark if there was a judge involved. The lead tech told me that the only reason Operations Mgr. responded to me by email was that she liked me as a subcontractor.
It is now 7/30/2018. It is well beyond the 90 day grace period for this retention letter. Mark Maudsley has lied over and over again about contacting me back by phone. Jennifer Maudsley has been incommunicado as well and Operations Mgr. as of a week ago is no longer Operations MGR. She quit.

Mark maudsley will not pay you he will tell you everything you want to hear for a whole month and then he will ignore you and he will not pay you.
Just stopped paying all techs and doesn’t answer calls. Says there’s something wrong with the bank. It’s been months.
