These people are complete scum bags. When talking with them today the salesperson I spoke with suggested that I come to his building and jump off the roof. This is a bad company. Steer clear!!!! I have heard that many of the owners have sketchy pasts. Again, Bad People!!!

The first time they called to tell me I was pre-approved for a loan they called at 5:40 AM and when I complained about the hour and informed them it was illegal to call before 8:00 AM they told me it was legal because they were in Washington DC and it was after 8:00 AM there. They then informmed me if I didn't want calls before 8:00 AM to shut off my phone at night.

The second time they called was at 7:27 AM I again complained about the hour and was told "Tough luck. Shut your phone off at night." and I then received six calls in a row from them all making nasty and crude sexual comments about my wife.

Now they call me at least three times every day. Yesterday I received three calls from them in a five (5) minute span.

I have records of the dates and times of the calls in my cell phone.

  • Nov 11, 2017

Repeated calls to my cell phone from different numbers asking me to call back for a cash advance.

Have called several times and ask to be removed from their call list. Every time someone hangs up on me even when I ask them not to and to direct me to someone who can assist me.

They call me 3 to 5 times a day, keep telling me I'm approved for a cash advance. They are harassing me

  • Oct 26, 2017

I went through 2-scams: First scam entailed the thieves, trying to collect from me, on a payday loan, that they said I made back around year 2010. They threatened a law-suit, an arrest and jail-time. The second scam, I believe perpetrated by the same group entailed the scammers, using and/or calling me thru/via numerous and various & sundry......many many different phone numbers to my home & Cell phone, to accept an approved $15K payday phone loan.

I told them to put me on the do not call list; htey verbally agreed; but they never did oficially put me on the list, because they continued to violate my privacy by calling me for a total of 2-3 years, asking/requesting me to accept this bogus payday loan-scam, unrelentally!! And the phone scam is still on-going as we speak! They still call me today, every day and night....24/7....I have no relief from this scam...and don't know what to do, to get relief....OK?!! Amen?!! Amen & Amen

I receive multiple calls daily from various telephone numbers around the United States telling me I have been approved for a $15000 loan. I have asked numerous times to please be removed from their list. At which time I get hung up on. They have left voicemail messages for me telling me that I have been approved for a $15000 loan and to call them back.

I have tried calling them back to ask them to please remove me from their list, and they hang up on me. I have been harassed by these people for close to 6 months now and they will not stop calling. I have tried blocking their phone numbers but they have hundreds of telephone numbers that they call from it is impossible to block every single number because they will just come up with another one.

Just today I received two calls at 6:40 in the morning, one was from Texas and one was from Florida. Lo and behold I just received another call. This one was from Texas. It was an automated Message telling me I've been approved for $15000, and for me to call them back on the exact same number they're calling me from. I called them back and I asked them to please remove me from their list they said OK ma'am and then hung up. This will not be the last I've heard from them because we've done this before. I would like them to get shut down once and for all I'm sick of getting these phone calls I do not know how to make it stop. At this point it is harassment.

Lord have mercy, where to start? I am losing my mind within the volumous calls to my phone from what seems to be hundreds of different numbers-yet always the same distinct (narrowed down to maybe 3 or 4 different beings 2 possibly 3 males ONE female) Indian accents first one will call claiming to be from First Cash Advance saying I have been approved for up to 15,000 loan. When I couldn't ger6very good reception due to my workplace (yes all times of day and night never ever ending!!!) I kept saying hello? Hello? That's when I caught onto it was a scam.... He was cursing me( oh look as I'm typing a call is coming in :( !!) Well I silenced my phone and yesterday afternoon was the last straw for me-by now I'm in shambles because of the amount of calls!! I answered just as calm cool and collected as possible (cuz God knows I have SCREAMED AT & BERATED these people to stop ✋ calling me and to take me off their call list which is magnificently long, getting longer)I let him go on at how I was approved for up to 15000 ..... And his whole spill honestly was too thickly accented to understand up until he told me to go get a card to prove I could pay my monthly payments and tgat "card" was dag blasted ITUNES CARD-are you for real right now?? Well you can understand why he hung up so quickly after I lost it.

Then just as every other time my freaking phone rings but now its so n so with (extreme sarcasm-from me - in Indian accent) "U.S. GOVERNMENT GRANTS DEPARTMENT" Ill be da***d if it wasn't that same guy I've hollered at for the past couple of weeks now!!!! I said didn't I literally JUST tell you I'm onto your scam and you're not getting a dime from me?? Click..hangs up..... Peace for about 2 hours last night then- ha!!! Now a female has entered the equation today!!! I want these calls stopped!!! I've now read 2 reports - there's tons more to read reporting this exact same thing!!! This is harassment at its extreme!!! And its a network of them ,they ARE Indian, they have an obscene amount of phone numbers they're calling from- even Alabama prefixes which is about all I answer now so I'm becoming trapped and fixated on silencing my phone, this is ridiculous!

Received an email from jimmy arthur, loan adviser Loan manager) at first cash advance which had a 7 page pdf contract to be downloaded. This contract was well written and contained no spelling or grammatical syntax errors normally associated with scams. The contract was for a $5k loan at 7.2% apr to be repaid at $200.00 per month for 28 months for a total of $5,600.00... After thinking it over, i decided to call and check it out, but, the phone rang at least 15 times and when it was answered, i could hear a lot of background noise. I asked for jimmy arthur and the guy asked for my name and number. After i had given him the information, he asked me why i was calling and i said i was calling about the loan offer sent to me. His response was "of course you are!" and then he said he would call me back as he was busy right now and hung up. I was starting to feel very uncomfortable about this whole transaction, so, i decided to do some research on the company and as i started, i received a text that jimmy was involved in a fdic meeting with the government and would return my call tomorrow afternoon. A few minutes later, outscamcame up on my computer with at least 25 complaints on the company with great loans with low apr's and the scamming was with requiring money in advance before the loan would be processed...At this point, i do not believe i will be answering my phone when jimmy calls me back... Just wanted to let you know it looks like this particular scam is alive and well... In fact, i am going to text him tonight and tell him i received a loan elsewhere as i couldn't wait until tomorrow...I really don't want a lot of phone calls, etc. Thank you for this website, it probably has saved me a lot of aggravation.

These people continue to call me and have no regard for the Do Not Call List.

I currently have 10+ complaints filed with the Attorney Generals Office and this company is under investigation.

I was called by a Loan Company out of the blue and told I was approved for up to $15,000 and should call them for more information . I was curious because I had made inquiries into HARP and thought this might be related. The men I spoke with had an East Indian accent. They said I could have an $8000 loan at the total cost of $8,400. I said that is a very low interest rate and was very surprised. They took some personal information from me and then told me that their boss would be calling me in a few minutes and be sure to answer the call. The next guy called and required additional personal information from me. I was beginning to feel uneasy about the next things I would be required to

do to have my account verified and receive a desposit from them. He explained that this was the fastest way to have their service and in two days my $8,000 loan would be in my account without a problem from my bank. Red flags were going off in my head so between calls from them I did a reverse phone check on both phone numbers that were used to contact me. Both reports said the numbers were valid and gave the name of their carrier and their location as Chicago. At this point, I was still cautious but continued to co-operate with the man. I said some of the things you are sayings do not make sense and I have never had to give much more than the routing number and

account number for my information to be verified. Also, he had said the extra information was required because my credit score was under 700. I know my credit good but not excellent. I also asked why my loan rate was so low if they thought my credit score was so poor. Once again, he had a reason that sounded halfway valid. The last call I received from him he said $998 should be in my account in the morning and he will contact me as to where to return the money. This then reminded me of a scam that was used about six years ago. Con artists would mail real checks to people and tell them to desposit the check and then call a number. Because they have won Two million dollars.

People would be told the check was good and would send the money and then in a day or so their bank would say the check was bad. People were actually sending their own money to the Criminals. I told the guy today I would not send the money until the funds were verified. He said fine, he did not understand I have no intention of sending any money to them until at least 5 days when my bank has collected the funds from them. I am sure they will be furious and try to persuade me to do what they ask. I even asked this guy how do I know this is not a scram. He became hurt and said I should not be so quick to judge. Not everyone is a criminal and they just want to help me with my

financial matters. I continued to repeat that he should be able to see why I have my concerns and that if this is a scam he will have to answer to a much higher authority than any judge and his Karma will be dramatically affected because he had an opportunity to do right and did not. He said I am not that type of a man and would never take money from elderly women. The next thing I did was change all my personal information that they were using for my bank. I am thinking about blocking both phone numbers and seeing how long it takes them to try to contact me. I do not believe that the money they put in my account will be valid and at worst I will just watch how long it takes

for their deposit to disappear due to insufficient funds. I am hoping that my actions have saved me from their greed. The thing that made me realize it is a scam were other reports on ripoff that had the very same experience except they sent the money and were victims of the scam. I am not sure if what they did to me today was a crime because so far they have not stolen anything from me. I wonder if there is a law about attempted fraud? Anyway, the experience is continuing in the morning and I am hoping my actions will protect my bank account. I intend to report them to my bank and see if there is anyway they can be arrested for this behavior. My guess is they may not be able

to prove fraud. I can at least warn people and alert my local banks and news stations to protect others in our community.

They are scammers and change their number after you catch on. If someone requires you to show proof of your cash or amount in bank account they are thieving scammers.

  • Aug 5, 2017

I'm just going to try to keep it short, they called me with all of my information (including my routing and account number) so obviously I've went somewhere on the internet and put in my information but never finished. So they told me I was approved for a loan so me thinking that since they already had my info I might as well because they could've been stole from me, but they didn't so idk what information they are missing or waiting on to do it. But I sure will dispute it and I think that is what they don't want. But they told me that they would put $1,000 in my bank account and I would need to send it back to them the next day via (WESTERN UNION) lol so with that I told them I would call them back (never did) trust me they sound convincing definitely when you need it BUT DONT TRUST IT if YOUR bank won't approve you WHY would anyone else.

On July 13th, michael hosting from first cash advance called, he told me I was pre-qualified for a $3000 loan. He said all I have to do is to give him my account numbers so he could deposit some money into my account, then I would give it back to qualify. After giving him all the info he asked for, a check for $450 was deposited into my account. It was from Bank of America in New York, after it cleared the next day I called Michael for the next step, he instructed me to go to a Walmart and purchase a gift card for $450. After doing so, I called him and gave him the info from the back of the card. When the time came for the $3000 loan, he said my credit score was too low and that he would lose his job if he approved this deposit,

I told him he said that I was already pre-approved for this loan but he gave me some line that should've raised red flags but didn't. Anyway on the 18th I got a call from my bank saying my account was overdrawn, they said the $450 check was being returned and the bank took the money back causing an overdraft. When I tried calling back to michael, surprise surprise, he played dumb. So I went to my bank and cxl'd the acct's. Got a new Checking acct. and as soon as I receive hostig's rubber check from my bank I will be filing a police report. I had already filed a complaint with the better business Bureau I won't get my money back, but it'll make me feel better, and expensive lesson to learn.

Got a call asking me how much I was needing to borrow. I was desperate at that time. Bills racking up due to divorce. So I said yes i would like to borrow $4,000. Then it was i had to send x amount for processing fees. Then it was I needed to pay for the documents papers and that i would get 3 copies emailed to me. Then finally it was we need you to pay for the money to be transfered into account. Send time Johanna Picrollei out of Florida. Once all said and done I was to have 4,870 dollars into my account. As of today i still don't have that money in my account and this is after they promised me today that they money would be in there. I gave my bank the information and they had let me know that this was a scam. Wow people have nothing better to do that steal from hard working people.

My mother was ripped off by an individual with an Indian accent who said that he was with First Cash Advance.

They called her "out of the blue" offering a $15,000 loan. It was so uncanny and bizarre to us because my sister needed a loan desperately - and a loan in that amount. She had been unable to get one from her bank; so, she was willing to see if she could get one with this organization. My mother gave her the number to call them – the number was 347-349-7454.

The gentleman my sister spoke with asked her for quite a lot of information, including her online banking information - username and password. He said that they needed this information because her credit score was low. There was, what I believe is called, a “mobile block” on her account, so the man – who said his name was Ricky – asked her if she had another family member’s account she could use. (Because of the mobile block, they couldn't transfer the money to her.)

So she asked my mother and she had to give her online banking account access information also – username and password.

Ricky then changed to Harry, at some point in the back and forth conversations. Harry told my sister that they needed to validate my mother’s bank account so they needed to deposit an amount into the account and they needed her to send it back to them.

This sounded really weird to me but I figured that once my mother or sister was not using any of their own money to purchase anything – as I read from others who were scammed – I thought that it would be fine.

Sure enough $995 was deposited into my mother’s bank account on Friday, August 19th and my sister was told that 8:00 the next morning she was to go to CVS and Harry would call her with further instructions. I told my sister that the funds were not showing in our mother’s available balance so she was not to do anything until it was available.

Warning bells were already going off but I realize now how desperation can cloud your judgment. I was not comfortable with that much money being deposited in my mother’s account. If it were only for validation purposes, why not deposit some insignificant sum? Also, why couldn’t “Harry” give the details of what my sister needed to do once she got to CVS before she got there? He wanted to guide her step by step.

“Harry” called my sister bright and early Saturday, August 20th to tell her to go to CVS. She called me to ask if the funds cleared. I checked our mother’s account and the funds were showing in her available balance.

My sister was instructed to purchase two iTunes cards. “Harry” told her to put $500 on one card and $495 on another card. During this time my sister was on the phone with “Harry” and I was online trying to see if others had had similar experiences and whether or not this was a scam.

I told my sister that I saw some things about people with Indian accents and that it was a rip off. I got nervous and changed my mother’s online access information.

“Harry” went BERSERK when he realized that the online information was changed. He accused us – I was on the phone with him and my sister – of trying to steal their money. We told him that wasn’t the case that we didn’t want their money, that my sister was right there in CVS trying to purchase the iTunes cards. He accused us that they trusted us by depositing the money and now we were trying to cheat them.

He told us that they submitted our names to the local sheriff because we are trying to run off with the money. This was all to incite fear in us and it worked. But he said something that sounded off another warning bell – he said “I am the local sheriff”. Now, how in the world could he be the sheriff!!

I knew for sure that this man was a liar and that this was a scam but I just didn’t know how exactly they would benefit if we were simply sending them back the same money that they deposited in the account.

In any event, my sister bought the cards and gave “Harry” the card information. And now that he got all the information he needed he was all nice and calm again. We gave him the new online access information and he said we should see the money deposited in the account within the next 45 minutes to an hour.

Of course, no such money was deposited in the account. We figured that they wanted to steal the money that was in our mother’s account but we had already withdrawn whatever money she had, so we figured that they didn’t, wouldn't, and couldn't get anything from us.

But, we were so wrong. On Tuesday, August 23rd, the bank called my mother to tell her that her account was overdrawn because the $995 deposit item was no good.

The deposit item was a picture of a check, drawn on a Bank of America account. The name and address on the account was Miryam Canales 13725 32nd Avenue NE, Seattle, WA 98125.

So now the bank wants that money back and of course “Harry” stopped answering the phone.

So PLEASE if anyone says that they want to loan you money but they need very sensitive information from you DO NOT GIVE IT TO THEM. NEVER GIVE OUT YOUR ONLINE ACCESS INFORMATION TO ANYONE.

IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT PROBABLY IS. We got caught but we pray that you can learn from our experience and you won't be.
