Financial funding llc commissioned my company to appraise a real estate property in westchester county, ny in the fall of last year. In order to facilitate proposed closing, we agreed to an expediated turnaround for a pre-agreed, non-contingent fee.
The appraisal was submitted to the client and accepted, and was invoiced november 8, 2013. After 30 days without payment we contacted financial funding llc, and were told our invoice had been passed to the accounts department for settlement.
After a further thirty days passed without payment we re-contacted financial funding llc, whose "director of operations" told us she could not explain the non-payment, and that she would have to speak with her chairman before being able to inform us when to expect payment. Ten days have passed since our last conversation, and we have still not received either payment or notification of when to expect such.

On June 5, 2012 we were hired by Financial Funding to complete a Commercial Appraisal in New Jersey. We were advsied to collect partial payment from the borrower and the balance would be paid by them. After the report was completed and sent, we were hired to complete 4 more appraisals in New Jersey and New York.
Monthly statement have been sent since December 2012 for a total amount of $10,400.00 and we have not received payment for any of the appraisals. Several calls where placed to their office and the "Director of Operations" told us each time that she doesn't handle the payment and we would need to speak with accounting. When calling back to speak with accounting it was the same person getting on the phone.
Our office has spoken with the Vice President of Underwriting and have been told several times that a check is being sent out. As stated before it is now January 2014 and still no payment.

My company was sought out by Financial Funding LLC to appraise a property in Louisianna. We came to an agreement and made a commitment. My company met their commitment and rendered our agreed upon bill in September 2013.
Since then many contacts via telephone and email have been made with employees and owners of Financial Funding LLC but to no avail. They are always "checking with accounting" but no payment is ever rendered. My company is aware that Financial Funding LLC has been paid by their client and this payments included the cost of our appraisal services. However, as of February 21, 2014, we cannot secure payment and now we can no longer get anyone at this company to respond to emails or telephone messages.
I would not advise doing business with this company. They appear to be negligent, underhanded and unethical in their business practices.
