Finance Solutions Reviews

  • Feb 11, 2017

I had originally received a letter that states that they can help consolidate my debt and lower my monthly payments. I called in and got in touch with a Daniel Marom, who goes by Dan. The rep told me that they would take my money, and they would negotiate lowering my debt with each creditor, and supply them with their reps' number so they stop calling me. That seemed like a great idea at the time and told the rep to reach out after the weekend.

I did some further research and logged onto their website. After seeing a video on what they actually do, the rep failed to mention that they will let all of your accounts go to 90+ days past due, severely damaging your credit score, then use that as leverage to lower your debt. They also require you to close all of your accounts after-the-fact, which then lowers your Open Credit, and lowering your score even more! There also isn't a guarantee that lowering the debt will happen. So at the end of the day, they take your money, and you pray that they will actually pay the creditors down with it.

As Monday approached, I was still iffy on if I wanted to move forward or not, so I e-mailed the rep and said I needed more time to think. The rep obliged and agreed to call be in 24 hours. Then that night, I looked the company on BBB and complaint websites and it got me deeply worried because they are all stories on how they take your money, and nothing happens, and the creditors still remain unpaid! What a scam!

I politely declined their invitation to move forward, which directly after starts to send berating emails saying "I'm done explaining it to you since you've ignored about 10 of my calls. Hopefully, you don't end up in bankruptcy." Um, excuse me?! So if this is the service I receive, I couldn't even imagine what working with the creditors is like. The rep then wrote another e-mail after I told them to stop contacting me, sending me off with a "Good luck with your $XX,000 dollars of credit card debt." How unprofessional.

I'm glad I was smart enough to see through all the BS that they claim to be A+ with the BBB, an Accredited Member of the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce, and Proud Supporter of the Boys & Girls Club of America, American Red Cross, and Wounded Warrior Project. It is highly doubtful that they support any of those charities if they can't even maintain customer service with clients who are pissed, and instead, end up writing horrible complaints and reviews that litter the internet when you google their name.

Caveat Emptor, BUYER BEWARE!
