Complaint Type: Guarantee Or Warranty Issues Problem: For well over a year now we have taken our vehicle into this location to be serviced under warranty. NUMEROUS times it has been because of issues under the hood that was was hearing and instances of my vehicle acting up in a jerking motion was taken in the shop as well. The service department claimed they couldn't ever find anything. During one of these warranty visits, Fields Cadillac had my vehicle for quite some time, because my car had jerked forward and caused me to slightly hit the vehicle in front of me at a yielded area getting off the interstate. Luckily no one was terribly hurt. I explained to them I would rather them buy back the car because quite frankly I was scared to drive it now. No attention to working with me on this.... During this warranty visit my vehicle sat in the same spots for quite some time EXCEPT obviously when one of the service guys allowed their teen to drive my vehicle to prom! I found their prom dress-shoes, dress socks and papers in my vehicle when we finally did get it back!! When we took this to Fields Cadillac their reaction was "hmm". Nothing ever was SAID further about it or done. Not even an apology.... Every time we brought our vehicle in it was explained to us that a 27 point inspection was always performed and, "yes, Mrs. Perry weak ways check the oil." I'm a worrier.... This is what the bigger gentleman that works there explained to me. He was always the one that I dealt with. On some occasions we had to go to a blonde woman about the fact nothing was ever found to be wrong. Yet, after an accident and DOZENS of times having it in there STILL NOTHING WAS DONE/FOUND. Well low and behold I had my vehicle in there again in November for a weird sound under my hood. They found allllllll kinds of things wrong and told us our vehicle was't under warranty to have anything done. That same gentleman stated all of my fluids would be checked since I had been there for FOUR HOURS waiting. There was a black gentlemen sitting beside me for about an hour of my four hours and he too was disgusted with the services rendered there and disgruntled by what was said and told to me during his short time there sitting Next to me (hearing what the service rep had to say). I was lied to. My car was in fact still under warranty and told it was not. I have paperwork to back this up. Now my motor is gone (because of oil they state) and they are staying they never did or checked any of that during these times. We also have paperwork showing they did this as well. Not to mention the senior specialist at GM stated she too reads/sees in the system they performed these services on my engine (oil). That it's our fault and they will not honor, stand behind or fix any of it. PLEASE, PLEASE HELP US WITH THIS. We did our part... More than our part as a consumer. We constantly brought our vehicle in to be SERVICED for multiple reasons. Fields Cadillac lied and didn't stand behind the warranty or their "vision" as a car dealership.
