About a couple years ago, I had a civil judgment in California that I needed to enforce. I am studying full-time and I did not have the time to file court papers or hire somebody to track down a place of employment in order to garnish wages. I did some looking around and found Fidelity. They helped to enforce the judgment in exchange for a commission in a contingency agreement. Everything was well and money was starting to flow. However, I noticed some accounting issues in their "trust account" statements. The accounts were depleting faster than the payments from the Sheriff and there were unexplained deductions. I lawyered up and Fidelity was mad (that's an understatement actually). They retaliated and made my account uncollectable by keeping one legal paper unsigned and terminating the garnishment. By the way, that Fidelity lawyer is a D--k. (His actual last name sounds similar, so it's fitting.) He was responsible for railing on my account and interfering with my rights to collect. Any business owners on this site, take this warning: Do not hire Fidelity! They will steal your revenue and lie to you! Also, for people who owe debts to them, do not pay a cent to them! They sue debtor by the hundreds and abuse the process by default pleadings and even try to file before stay of execution. All they do is bleed the system and not pay their clients!!
