The company puts a virus on your computer making you think that something is wrong with it. It will prompt you to call them and a representative from Few Logics will convince you that if they don't install a security software for you, you will lose all your personal information. They will deceive you and remote into your computer where they have access to all your information. Few logics will also manipulate you into purchasing their fake security software that is nothing more than a free download you can get anywhere off the internet. They will not only rip you off, but ruin you entire computer system!! ** Do not fall for their services! Be very aware!***
I got off on some strange site one time in March of 2017 and was advised to call their number to correct errors or hacking or something that was wrong in the hard drive of my laptop. I listened, most of what they said made sense and i went ahead and sent them $288.99. Stupid me.
i had already spent other money for similar occurances in November of 2016 and again in March of 2017 (Tech Vision America Inc), totaling $360.00+.
Looking back, i was probably taken in all three instances, or at least corrected the problem with store bought software.
If at all possible, I would like to recover my money or at least a portion of it. Not sure if that is possible. I would like someone to tell me how that could happen.
It happened to us as well on the 20th and 22nd of Feb. 2019, except they got us for 499.98. I was sceptical, but I trusted my husband's decision, even though he has dementia. Even with the dementia, he is extremely wary of being tricked and I couldn't believe he could be fooled. Fortunately my bank repeatedly refused to pay the second scammer and I called HP support and got the whole thing straightened out(I hope). My bank has cancelled my card, issuing a new one. I spent over five hours with the scammers, the bank and HP. I hope I never have to call tech support again for at least two years.
I called a company called Quicken (better known as Intuit in Canada, very successful Company) The company who answered was Few Logics Inc and claimed they had been hired by Quikcen to fix my machine by getting in to mycomputer with my approval. I argued that I did not want them and wondered how they answered my 800 call They claimed again that it was okay, they were working for Quicken I was doubtfull and again told them I did not want them but they were quite adament they were the right number. After the argument they said they would connec me with a gentleman called Justin and he was from Quicken! I finally appproved the help and let them into my computer and took them three to four hours playing with it. Quicken does support for free for two years and as my program was 2015 it would be free. After finishing they informed me that the cost was $ 299.00 approx and then I was further informed that it would increase by U S funds and this came out to over $ 400.00. At that point I stated that I was confused as I thought it was a Canadian Company as Quicken is Canadian. They said they were sorry and they would give me a credit for that and make it Canadian amount. They eve showed me a credit on the computer but when the cost came through it was over $ 400.00. I seethis company was Incorporated in August 2014, File # 01144506. Do you want your area known as liars, cheaters, takeing things under the law? This is what is happening and I will guarantee that my computer only that has been taken and many people through out Canada and United States. Please respond regarding this matter and a cheque sent to me would be appreciated. You have my telephone # and my address. RSVP
