My wife and I went to a 45 minute presentation in Branson, MO. October of 2015 and in turn we received a discounted stay for three days. We've been to a sales pitch before but this one seemed like a really good deal, as usual they start out at the $16k package and you say no and they keep knocking the price down. Well we got down to an $8k figure and it came with 5800 bonus points because someone had "upgraded" their package. They said we would have maintenance fees to pay every year and we were okay with that and that our points could "roll over" from previuos year or we could "buy" future points and what was appealing is that we could will it to our kids. Fell for it, hook, line and sinker. Put $1k cash down and financed the rest through Zealandia Capital @ $146/mth drafted from my checking account. 2 months later in January of 2016, we received a statement for maintenance feesfor almost $1k, fell over. We called and asked why maint fee, we just bought this package? 1st deception, they replied the fees were due at the first of each year. We hadn't planned on this in our budget and my wife had to quit her job to take care of her Grandmother whom is still living with us, so we could not afford the fees. We did not use our package in 2016. First week of August of 2017 my wife called to book our vacation to Branson and they said we did not have any points, she asked about the bonus points we had and the replied that they had expired, 2nd deception. My wife asked to talk to a supervisor and they said all they do there was book vacations and that we would have to call sales or customer service. We called both and could not get a person on the phone, only leave a message and we will call you back. HA, HA. Funny when you owe them money they can sure call you 2 or three times a day and harrass you. I still have yet to get a call back.

Festiva manages my timeshare at Southcape Resort in Mashpee MA - I am eligible to deposit 2017 timeshare to search for a June 2017 trade as per resort requirements - Festiva however rejects the deposit and trade unless 2017 dues/fees are paid . That bill is sent in Dec and is due 1/1/2017 - They don't notify you that the prepayment must be done and simply rejects the trade -,they should allow deposits and trades to go through and only reject it if fees not paid by the 2017 due date - TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SUPPORT - THEY ARE SNEAKY! They hold the 2017 vacation trade hostage before 2017.
