This company is billing my wife for something she did not or and did not recieve. When she sent the bill back to them with a note that she did not order anything, they sent another bill. We are not going to pay for something we did not get and furthermore did not order.
Today I recieved a bill for $37.96 for a book titled Country Doctors Kitchen from FC&A publishing.
The bill included a late fee of $3.00.
This book for not ordered my either myself or my wife. When I called the 800 number listed and informed the woman who answered my concern for this bill she hung up on me.
My mother, (in her 80's and living on inadequate social security), received a box in the mail and opened it to find a book (Simple Home Remedies For Seniors), a letter thanking her for her order, a tacky bookbag, and a bill for $39.99, along with several pages of cheap ads and miscellaneous "freebies" (like a small, single page calendar). Mom says she DID NOT/WOULD NOT order the book and has no interest in it.
When I Googled FC&A, I found MANY reports of similar happenings and repeated attempts for payment...for YEARS!
I am so disgusted with this company, and others like it, that obviously hire ONLY people who care only about themselves and making money any way possible, off of ANYONE they can CON!
FC & A is a company LACKING in INTEGRITY, and employees that have parents or HEARTS!!
I received a book in the mail today from fc&a publishing. I have never heard of this company and could not have ordered a book. I'm sending it back unopened. I'm in my late 80s so perhaps a target for scam artists. But don't be fooled scammers some "old folks" are as sharp and more knowledgeable than you are.
My mother has dementia this company keeps sending her stuff and so far I have started taking it for the mailbox of throwing it in garbage.. when she happens to order anything i am tearing it up before it ever gets mailed. I have tried to get these people to stop and leave her alone but every time the mail runs there is something from FC&A. I just put her name and address on do not mail list see how it works if not I will continue to throw it in the trash

They sent me a book i did not order, and a bill for $39.99. The book is "What every senior should eat"
This company seems to have a long history of doing this exact type of thing.
I called them, they said they will send me a return slip. This is clearly a scam.
