She wanted me to try behind -the-ear (BHE) hearing aids. I informed her I had tried them before and they will not work. She insisted I try them and we could send them back. I tried and they had same exact problems as previous pair, i.e., cycling (in and out, off/on). Well, she adjusted, adjusted and adjusted until it was past the trial period. I told her it was as good as that they'd ever get and I didn't want them. She said it was too late, past 30-day trial. I had been quite ill and wasn't able to deal with anything and had an assistant, Amanda Norris. She took me to their office and we wanted to work various options. She gave me an old demo hearing aid that was BHE and didn't work either. We explained that I needed resolution and she agreed to work with L&I of Washington state where I have an account for hearing loss. She finally got certified through them in 2017 but their rule was to send their old BHE in for repair. I dropped them off in her office May 2017 for return/repair. She sent them in. In the meantime, the office sent me a termination letter and no contact order. I go it 6/7/2017 via email as follows: Mr. Ashworth,
Please see attached patient termination letter. This same letter was mailed directly to your home address over a month ago. Since it doesn't seem you received it I am now emailing and will mail another letter as well. Please do not reach out to our audiologist again since they have been instructed not to reply to you.
