I hired Mindy Farber through a referral from the Maryland Bar Association. She seemed competent on the initial phone consultation and I retained her. Later that week after I sent over the documents, she stated she would send a letter to the General Counsel at the University, LJ. She said that had a long working relationship with him and she knew him well. No letter was generated in 3 months. She sent 2 onliner emails that she sent me & kept the few thousand dollars I paid her for retainer. She copied the emails I sent, mailed them over, and that was it. At that time, she wanted a second retainer. I requested a copy of all records & a bill. She got angry again. She then sent abrasive argumentative statements to me via email. The only thing else she said is that she was close to retiring and she hoped LJ Jr., would say something good about her like the person did from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Her chief excuse was that she had to take care of her dying mother who had advanced lung cancer in New York. A
At times, when deadlines were due, she didn't deliver. She didn't care. We need class action against her. There are numerous victims.
