We frequently ordered for pick up from Fang's Kitchen through their website. They use Door Dash to process their online orders. We received multiple text and email confirmations that our order was received, processed and ready for pick up on a busy Friday night. We even had the charge show up on our credit card. Every system was confirming this process went through without any problems.
When we arrived for pickup there were many people in line waiting for orders and the staff member was overwhelmed. She indicated she had no record of our order and blew us off - not even offering to process the order for us while we were there and had already waited in line for 30 minutes.
When we attempted to provide proof of our order she said we wouldn't be charged and stopped talking to us. We called again later than evening to dipsute the charge that went through and she hung up on us.
Several days later we returned to the restaurant to again dispute the charge in person with additional proof of payment for food we never recieved. Again they were rude and did not care - indicating our only option was to contact Door Dash at this point.
They could care less that they just lost a frequent customer. We've been more than patient with them in attempting to resolve this but we're shocked at their complete lack of concern for the fact that we got ripped off by the system they use to process orders and that they did not want to retain us as frequent local cusomters. We have filed a dispute through our credit card and will never support this company again.
