On 6/8 I sent an email to Fallenherobracelets.com about pricing and Michael responded I needed to send an email with what I wanted. I ordered two hats which totalled like $63. I then got an email with a page of information explaining all of the variations of shipping and how long things take. On 7/12 I still hadn't received anything so i emailed him asking about the order. He responded that he needed to clean his desk and update about 20 orders which thought was odd. I then went online and searched his company which i should have done in the first place and found numerous complaints about how he tries to scam people. I then sent him an email on 7/13 and explained my concerns and that i just wanted to know his intentions. If youre gonna send the order, then send it. I thought a month was too long to wait and not hear anything. I attached my order number for him to look up. He then sent me a response which i did not expect.
It pretty much said, negative press? he's been in this business for 15 years and a couple people have complained. He proceeded to tell me he was refunding my order and whined that it was all he had in his account. He also said he was reporting me to the BBB. I did not respond. On 7/17 I received a refund for the original amount. Today 8/22 I receive a collection notice in the mail from some place in Florida regarding Fallenherobracelets for $193. It says they've exhausted all options trying to resolve the delinquent account, I need to pay the amount. I don't know what this guys problem is but he's fabricating bills that could potentially affect my credit. His site needs to be shut down.
My wife ordered a tshirt for me back in June as a gift from Fallenherobracelets.com. Immediately after the order was placed, the funds were taken from her account. About two weeks passed by and she sent an email to check the status of when it would possibly ship. The response she received stated that the item she had ordered takes 6-8 weeks to process. Today marks a little over 3 months and still have not received shipping or updates on the item. My wife sent three additional emails, with no response. I emailed the business and told them, we gave them a chance even though they had many poor reviews. I received an immediate response "bad reviews? Are you kidding me!" I didn't get any updates, nor when the item would be shipped. My wife received a nasty email, threatening to be turned over to collections for asking to refund the money. This guy is a joke and I will not put up with someone disrespecting my family. I hope he understands what obtaining property by false pretenses entails. ;)
I ordered a Chris Kyle hat In January, cost $65 Australian dollars so after the conversion quite expensive for one hat! Still haven't received the hat, tried to contact Michael Friedman numerous times and he has not replied with any information about my order or the shipment. Using the face of the military and saying this is a not for profit organisation and then ripping off customers is the lowest of lows !! DO NOT order from this site unless you want to give Michael Friedman your money for nothing in return !!
Obviously I'm writing this here as I think the guy is pathetic trying to scam money from war veterans.
Ordered a baseball hat in Nov. was told numerous time that it had shipped, was going to ship was tied up in an order...the guy is full of s***. Finally cancelled my payment and he got all butt hurt like I was in the wrong for not wanting to be scammed.
After reading all the complaints, I couldn't agree more! In Mr. Friedmann's responses, his conduct speaks for itself. I ordered a memorial bracelet with the names of some of my fallen brothers engraved from "Fallen Hero Bracelets" on June 29, 2017. Per their website, they inform of a 14 day processing period and a 30 day lead time. I am yet to receive my order and it is now October 12, 2017. I have been in contact with a individual who goes by the name of Michael Friedmann, if that is his real name. He advised that he was out of the office most of August due to a family emergency. However, he does not engrave any of the Bracelets, as he outsources the work, so this should not effect production. I remained patient and advised that I wished all was well with his family . I have sent several additional emails, to which I receive little to no response until recently, when I informed him I would be contacting the Better Business Bureau. Friedmann then decided he would reply to that email, as he took it as a threat, rather than a resort, and also advised that he is not affiliated with the BBB, contrary to his wedsite that depicts an A+ rating by the BBB; which was also debunked as a lie. Friedmann offers no date of compleation or any insight on the status of my order. Please beware of this company, I wish I would have reviewed all the complaints prior to my order, as he is in possession of my money, and I am yet to revive my product.
I ordered a bracelet in March 2017. As I read in other complaints, when I contacted them in June Michael Friedmann claimed mail theft and said he would remake the bracelet I ordered. I contacted again July 16 and was told that the bracelet is in the mail. The tracking number through USPS shows a label was created 8 days ago but the post office hasn't received the package yet. I told Mr. Friedman this and he said they just haven't scanned it yet. Same complaint as others. I ordered 4 months ago and never received but they were quick to charge my credit card last March.
On July 7th, 2017 I placed an order for a hat to Fallen Hero Bracelets for $31.74. I did not receive the hat until October 30, 2017. That is over 16 weeks to receive. 8 weeks into the order, I sent an email to the owner asking the status of my hat delivery. he replied that there was a 7 to 14-day processing time frame and a 3 to 6-week lead time on hats. After 9 weeks I contacted him again. This time he replied with a beligerenet responce and threatened that he would ruin my credit and come after me with collections and legal ramifications. I contacted Paypal, Firefly and [email protected] who were all involved in the transaction. 14 weeks into it Paypal contacted Fallen Hero Bracelets and I finally recieved my hat 16 weeks after it was ordered. Since the, Fallen Hero Bracelets had followed through on their threats. I have been harassed by two Collections Companies and tody I received a letter signed by M. Friedman Chief legal Officer that I owe them $169.50. They are accusing me of Bank Fraud, Violation of Terms of Service, Breach of Contract, and Collections. The state the order was shipped within the time frame promised and that I never notified them that the shipment had not arrived. I have emails sent to Fallen Hero Bracelets that my order never arrived. I have Paypal, Firefly and [email protected] that let Fallen Hero Bracelets know I never received my hat that I paid for which was cashed in October. Mark is a disgace. he's a bully and a harrasser. I plan to contact other social media outlets to disclose this unprofessional behavior. the only honest thing this man has done is following through on his threats to me. He's doing this because I got Paypal, Firefly and golgathapictures involved in this. Stay away from this company.
As others have stated, I too also bought a Chris Kyle Craft Hat and never received it for months until PayPal got involved with the transaction. After close to six months they finally sent me my hat and then proceeded to try and extort $190 from me through a collection agency by stating they were never paid...the collection agency in Babylon NY, ECC and Associates which refused to acknowledge the letter and payment receipt supplied from PayPal, verifying payment. All they kept saying is that they will report this to the Credit Bureau if I don't pay!
Fallen Hero Bracelets is not a reputable company and apparently have scammed a number of people. I would never recommend them and they should be ashamed of themselves by saying they are a non profit organization and using American Veterans as a means to dishonestly gather money. The people at the Chris Kyle Foundation should disassociate themselves from this organization and not tarnish the name of an American Hero. Shame on you Fallen Hero Bracelets!
On June 6th, I submitted my credit card information to purchase a Combat Controller's Beret, CCT Decal, and a 3XL Sweatshirt. By August 18th, I had still not received anything that I ordered, yet I had email traffic that stated in was in the mail, I will ship it soon, and working it. The Benjamin Foundation and the Fallen Hero's Bracelets Website and Non-Profit is a SCAM and only interested in taking money and delivering false promises. Michael Friedmann states that he "usually delivers" in 7 to 14 days, but there are many Rip Off Reports and customer comments that suggest that Michael Friedmann lies and strings you along with no product to show for your sales order. Avoid spending or donating any money to the Fallen Hero Bracelet / The Benjamin Foundation; less you support thieves and scam artist who do not support our military members or their best interest. I am now $85.75 poorer from dealing with this rip off organization that does not deliver its products ever.
Ordered a T-shirt through artfire and fallen hero bracelet. No Place to select a size. Emailed FHB and got no reply. Tried calling and call would not go through contacted PayPal. After that I received an email from FHB threatening me for mail fraud, bank fraud and that I would be sent to collections. Received a shirt that was very bad quality and still the wrong size. Just wrote it off as a $39 mistake. Then 2 months later received a letter of collection on behalf of FHB for $422! That’s the guys scam. He makes you so frustrated that you report him and then he tries to extort money by filing claims with credit bureaus. His web site says A+ rating with the American business bureau. No such company exists but the “BBB” gives him an F rating. He puts on his website that if you file a complaint against him that he will charge you $100-500 for fraud. The guy is a loop hole scam artist and a crook. Stay away from anything that is FHB!
This company is a scam, they are a disgrace to all fallen heros and veterans worldwide. They are threatening customers with filing collection complaints against them once the purchaser challenges their wrong doings of not shipping the items purchased by the consumer. This place needs to be investigated by the Federal Government and closed down. The consumer has already paid through PayPal and once you say you'll report them to PayPal they then threaten filing civil suits, filing collections with all 3 bureaus against you the consumer, this place is a joke.
Michael Friedmann is a thief liar and a pathetic excuse for a human being. I really wish the IRS would audit him. I doubt he pays taxes. I ordered a shirt over 3 months ago and when I asked numerous time what the status was he sent me a filth lace reply.
Should allow zero stars. I wish I would have read all the bad stuff on this website prior to placing my order. I only found them after I purchased a shirt from them. I gave the benefit of doubt to them and waited and waited and waited. I contacted him well after the stated redicuous lead times he had posted and tried to reiterate during our first coversation. He finally stopped responding to me after about 6 months. It's been a year since I made this mistake. Never again, forever I shall review shady websites first. He must a really needed that 30 bucks. So buyer beware. Scamming in the name of Veterans is the lowest of the low and I guarantee this asshole will get what is coming to him one day.
I placed a $61.00 order and paid it in full on 02282018, through PayPal and although requesting information many times an individual identifying himself as Michael Friemann responded accusing me of fraud although he was provided copies of documentation of having been paid in full.
The individual identifying himself as Michael Friemann would never provide shipping or tracking information nor would he provide information on my purchase. Luckily I made my purchase through PayPal who covers this type of fraud. Please avoid Fallen Hero Bracelets and http://fallenherobracelets.com/index.html
Claims to be a wounded army veteran. Has a fake photo of himself on the website in fatigues with a rifle. Also claims he served in the middle-east as a contractor. All of this is false. He has never been to the middle-east and has never been on the continents of Europe/Asia. Has created multiple non-profits claiming 100% of the donations are for military-related charities. He keeps all of the money and lives off of it, while scamming good people, veterans, scamming the IRS, scamming Social Security, schools to obtain Student Loans, Universities, the courts, etc. If he can produce proof of a donation, it's probably fake. Contact the charity to obtain proof of any donation and the amount donated from him or his "charities". He has been kicked off/banned from Ebay.com, Etsy.com and others for being a fraud. The Chris Kyle Foundation has obtained a restraining order against him for falsely using their Foundation on his websites. He is not rated by the Better Business Bureau (BBB) like his website says. The Chris Kyle (Frog) Foundation and the BBB specifically claim no relationship with him. He is not disabled, nor was he injured in a DUI accident, as his websites say. He is not a single father struggling to make it. He is not an attorney, but likes to threaten to sue people and has fraudulently referred to himself as an attorney or "Legal Counsel". He is not a military expert or police expert. He does not have a job and lives off the funds from these fake non-profits. Many of the people listed as Board Members of his non-profits are fake and/or do not know their names have been used for these Business Licenses in Washington State.
After ordering a bracelet online and paying for it through PayPal, I did not receive the product for over a year. After sending countless emails, with no response prior to receiving the product I finally contacted PayPal to receive my money back. At this time I got the responses and the bracelet. However, today I had to sign for an envelope from USPS and it was a notice to show up in small claims court in Washington. I live in Missouri. The claim is that I owe MICHAEL FREIDMAN $5000.00 due to violating the terms is service and breached contract, engaged in bank fraud and defrauded the plaintiff.
I immediately call Mr. Friedman and leave a message. He got my money, I got the product, there should be no issue, PayPal did not refund my money. He told me that by contacting PayPal I violated his contract, he still had to pay for the product out of his pocket, and it was a defamation of his character. Mind you, that he did receive the money. PayPal did not refund it to me because I received the product on filing the claim. He was very unprofessional on the phone, lied and stated that I had sent him an email regarding a supposed collection notice stating F**k you. I never received a collection notice that I could possibly have replied too. When I told him he had me confused with another customer he stated he was suing for defamation of character and then said see you in court, F**K you and hung up. Obviously I can’t travel to Washington to attend court over a $69.00 bracelet. How can you be sued for paying for a product, trying to find out information because it hasn’t been received, and finally receiving it? DO NOT BUY FROM FALLEN HEROS BRACELET! No matter what the situation you will not come out of it unscathed.

I placed an order for a ball cap on June 8th of this year. I waited for my order to arrive in the time frame given on the website.
It never arrived. I tried numerous times to contact them either through email or text and never received a reply.
As far as I'm concerned this is rip off site. It's now July 17th!
