I ordered an Accurite 5-in-1 Home Weather Station for $89.95 with free 3-5 business day shipping on June 23, 2017.
I was notified that it was shipped on June 27th via USP Service, tracking #US090952505US, with a link to check the shipping status at http://uspost-serivce.com/track-your-item/US090952505US.
Just looking through the link shows a bunch of obviously fake movements (delaying tactics). It even spent a week in my own small town before (supposedly) going to the post office, where it spent a few more days, then went out for delivery on a Friday afternoon and was delivered at almost midnight Sunday night. Of course, these are all lies.
Every email to the company gets similar responses, apologizing for any delays and guaranteeing delivery.
I used a $100 Amazon.com gift card for the purchase. I contacted Amazon when I couldn't check the balance, and they said the account had been claimed on "dnipro" e-mail *****@gmail.com (asteriks by Amazon.com).
I am obviously not going to ever get the merchandise I ordered. The USP Service tracking information is obviously fake.
I do not see how this FairSaves.com site can continue to exist.
I just read your comments about Fair Saves and I, too, experienced the same problems as you encountered. Amazon worked w/me on the gift card but was not able to resolve issue; which I don't blame Amazon as I realize a gift card is same as cash & my mistake to use for order. Yesterday 09/27/17 I filed complaint with this link Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) File A Complaint; realizing I probably will not be able to recover funds but suggestion FairSaves is fraud site and should be shut down.
Fair Saves as I have learned also goes by or went by Big Saves and Daily Saves. As mentioned in the post on 9/22/16, I have had the exact same experience. Could never speak with a person, just emailing back and forth saying it had been delivered not once but twice. The phone number had been disconnected. It was supposedly delivered on 3/11/17, I was home all day! NOt to mention I was the one that had to email them askng where my parcel was since it had almost been a month. Response they would look into it. Never heard from them. Had to email them yet again they said they would express post ship to me and I would have in 3 days. 6 days later still no parcel. I emaled once again and received a response stating that they had sent it to me twice and I needed to check the shipping address, which of course, was correct. Then they stated that they will refund my payment in full if it is was not delivered due to the postal service. Ths is a total scam. I did use paypal and have filed a claim with them.
