An absolutely awful and unethical company to do business with. Think carefully before considering commerce with FacilitySource. Your building maintenance and reputation will be in jeopardy. They recently deleted their Google account due to voluminous negative reviews (looking for new people to scam). As their contractor, they will not pay you. It will take several months for them to enter you in their system. You will need to process your invoices into their chaotic system. They won't pay you for work completed before or after you're in the system. They will not reply to your requests for payment status. No communication whatsoever. As a client, work requests are unfulfilled. Contractors will refuse service for non-payment and no response. As of 7/31/17, they have not even responded to the Better Business Bureau (you can verify on the BBB website). In my 30+ years of business-management experience, this company wins for most troublesome. It was a truly awful experience.
Do not work for this company....we were contacted in December asking us to do snow removal, it was an emergency and they said they would send us the contract after
We did it on good faith, we didnt get the contract untli Jan 2017 after doing multiple services.
I began to contact them in March for payment, you can never reach a supervisor and voice mails left for supervisors are never returned. It is now May and we havent gotten a dime from them and they owe us over $3,000
Do not sign their contract because it basically says you cannot come after them and all this other BS, I signed because I feared we would not get paid otherwise.
This is the worst vendor I have ever worked for and we have done work for quite a few. Please, please think long and hard before doing any work for this company.
Being one of the nation's largest national maintenance companies, and owned by an even larger private equity firm, you would figure they would be quick to get their vendors paid. NOT A CHANCE!!! They operate on a "Pay when paid" system. So if their customer takes forever to pay Facility Source, you have to wait even longer to get paid. Not very helpful for the small contractors who depend on getting paid to stay in business. There are LOTS of companies that have given up doing business with Facility Source because of this very reason.
They also don't prepay for any materials. That means that job that requires $10,000 in materials, you're sitting on that one for the next 6 months, or longer. Their billing system is so a*s backwards that it's impossible to use - and they claim to have the best system out there. They now want all materials listed line item by line item - each fitting, each pipe, each wire and wire nut. Unless you have $100,000 in available capital, you're better off staying FAR, FAR away.
