I am very disappointed to learn that SellBackYouBook.com has pulled the old "bait and switch" tactic with me. I intially recieved a quote for my college textbook of $16.70 and the process seemed incredibly streamlined. Once I accepted the companys quote, a second book showed up on the packing list for $2.04, a book I did not own and did not request a quote for. I assumed that it was an accident and forwared my textbook-ISBN 9780132834872-Organizational Behavior (15th Ed.).
A week later I recieved an email that they were sending a check for $2.04 for ISBN 9780073381237-Organizational Behavior (5th Ed.) that they claimed to have received. Again, I was only required to have ISBN 9780132834872-Organizational Behavior (15th Ed.) for my Masters course so therefore it is the only one I sent, the one with the bumblebee on the cover.
I believed I was dealing with a reputable company but to have them claim to have received a book which I never owned or sent and then pay two dollars for a book they quoted sixteen for is reprehensible. I would never have gone through the trouble of sending a book for two dollars, I would have simply given it to a library.
