I ordered free trials of Allumiderm and Allumineye and agreed that I was 18 or older and that I would pay shipping charges of 4.95 and 5.95. There was no mention of subscription or further charges. Two weeks later charges of $86.95 and 89.95 appeared on my credit card. When i called the company, they said the terms and conditions stated that these charges would be made and refused to refund my money. Eventually they agreed to refund 50%. When I tried to go to the website, my browser wouldn't allow it, saying the site isn't secure and is vulnerable to hacking.
Wish I had done more research into this company. So sad that they are allowed to advertise their product for $5.95 and then after 14 days they charge your credit card $86.95, because in the fine print you must call to cancel before the 14th day, which is NOT made clear when you are putting in your order. I'm calling my Attoney General to report this SHAMELESS company. I will tell everyone I can about this HORRIBLE SCAM.
I ordered an inexpensive sample of a beauty product because it was recommended by Dr. Oz. Because I have very sensitive skin, samples are the best way for me to shop. The sample never arrived, so I forgot about it-- until I saw two months of beauty products charged on the credit card I used to order the samples. The charges were for two products-- eyetensify and skin refine pro, neither of which i ever received, either as a sample or full product. Not only that, the charges were for $85 and $95. I called my credit card company and they got my 'membership' stopped, but i still paid for products i never ordered or received.
